how do i change my avatar?

Howdy folks,
ok, lately when I change my avatar on my 'core connect' page, it won't change it on the sto forum.....
in fact the picture that shows for the forum of my romulan character , I deleted from my profile in hopes that it would perhaps correct things.
So anyhow yea, I've changed my avatar on my core connect page, yet it won't change on the sto forum to the new one I put up....
anyone know why?
