Anyone used it?
Just curious how good it is over regular Orbital strike.
Does it move faster than who ever it's chasing, or slower? Does it follow your initial selected target or do it's own thing once started?
Importantly, does it output more damage vs strike?

It is, instead of the usualy burst of phaser, disruptor or plasma fire, a constant beam that tracks enemies down. It's speed is faster than a person walking with their gun out, but slower than a person running, so if you fuse armor or lay mines around somebody before you do this, or also use a phase rifle or pistol from the lobi store, your enemy, and any enemies within the AoE will be crisped. I have rarely seen it not crisp somebody in half its lifetime, and it always crisps somebody if they are under it 100% of the time, even hypos will do nothing. I would post a vid but server just came up for maintenance... Basically it is very much worth it. I believe is also has a faster CD, ill have to check...

This is the last thing I will post.
I was playing through Cutting the Cord for lobi the other night and reached one of the points where you're supposed to call in reinforcements. I hit the button but no reinforcements came (dang input lag), so a dozen Romulans beamed in and killed me. But I triggered the orbital strike first. The beam killed all of them.
Killed three dinosaurs with it, too. The beam just wandered from one to the next. It's great.\\
It doesn't seem to be buffed by tactical powers (yes, some of them can be applied by allies) or by Diagnostic Engineers. I guess it doesn't need any buffing, but that feels like an omission since those things buff the old orbital strike.
Sounds like I may need to replace seduce with this at some stage

If your not able to follow these 4 things no illicit sex, no gambling, no drugs, no meat-eating then don,t worry but chanting of this holy name ( Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra ) is very-very and very important.
Chant " hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare " and be happy.
if you still don,t believe on me then chant any other name for 5 Min's and chant this holy name for 5 Min's and you will see effect. i promise you it works And chanting at least 16 rounds ( each round of 108 beads ) of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra daily.

I could be wrong, but it looks like it has the same targeting as a HY plasma torpedo, so when the first target dies it targets another and follows it.
I've also noticed it tends to get a lot of flanking hits, which isn't the biggest thing in the world, but it helps. Also, it is affected by crits, so, if you have lots of crit chance/severity (for a non-tac of course), it really gets a decent bump, especially since each hit has a crit-roll, and there's a LOT of hits.
