as I saw it the launcher hardly patched anything..it was way too fast which is unusual..and again if tribble worked for me since day one of season 8 but holodeck crashes on start up what was changed to fix it supposedly ? anyways heres my ticket number if it helps at all : 25664664...sigh* been playing this game since launch 2010 when I bought the game from a store..yes those building that sell stuff..and been playing it ever since..so its kinda frustrating you know
Yeah! It'll pay off, 10 years from now. In the meantime, each day that goes by just pours more salt into the wound. I'm as patient as the next person but the longer this goes on, the more problems it creates.

Before the patch I got as far as a totally black, inaccessible character select screen with audio.
Since the patch I only get as far as the Legacy of Rom splash screen and the program stalls. Only way I can stop it is via its "Not Responding" entry in Windows Task Manager.
No error code that I can report, no physical crash, nothing - just a stall.

Wake me up when you fix it for real Cryptic, I'll be over here - in cryosleep, cos I know how long that's likely to take...

Well, i am in thank goodness, now a new problem has popped its head.
Guess i will post out in normal forums and find out were they move me if i don't find were.
When i sit still in space or on ESD i see one person then about 40 copies of that same person running past me. So humm. In space the stars keep getting brighter until the whole screen is white... think this is a new one for me
But i will be checking on everyone and see how things are going.
I am a member of the 18897741 club. To fair branflakes did say anyone with this error code would not make it into the game after this patch. I just hope we do not get forgotten about. This is star fleet command hailing Branflakes please come in please give us some hope? :eek:

Because he is not a developer. He is the public relation guy. We give the informations, he tells the Devs, he gets the instruction to tell us to stfu, he wraps that into a nice answer towards us. Fin

So much for the patch. Sorry guys, but the patch did NOT work. If you paid for subscriptions, I would demand a refund. I realize that Cryptic is trying to fix these launcher problems but they aren't going to be able to fix them.
Everyone might want to find a game that doesn't crash.

I have been able to get into tribble before cryptic started patching it.
Noticed than at the LoR screen at the bottom right it says material files reloaded.

it is a shame, this game is good just a shame about the support.
however, im kinda glad it did, otherwise i wouldn't have met all you nice ppl
