Looking for a team for Battlezones, Space or Ground /channel_join BattleZone
I've opened this channel to allow any chatter about BattleZones to be had without getting in the way of other channels.
It'll be a similar set of rules to some other channels out there.
1) Be excellent to each other(& Party on dude)
2) If someone upset's you, say's something you don't like, don't start a flamewar. Ignore is there for a reason. USE IT.
3) General Chatter IS allowed, but try to keep it polite.
4) Organised zone hopping is not permitted in this channel, it is considered exploitative and will not be tolerated.
This more of a guideline than a rule:
For ground battlzone you should already be beamed down and ready before responding to a team request, 2 reasons for this, a) You don't keep people waiting around. b) if you beam down before you join a team, your bridge officers will accompany you. if you're already teamed up, they don't.
Other than that enjoy yourselves, please tell your fleet mates, and promote in other channels if that's allowed.
Some shorthand that's become standard in the channel:
BZG: Battlezone Ground
AP: Artillery Point
OG: Omega Generator
CP: Capture Point
DS: Dino Silo(Omega Silo)

We organised 2 teams into one zone earlier and got all 3 silos pretty easy, the channel gave us a way to communicate outside of the team and organise where to go, what to do.
This could of been done in zone i suppose, but if everyone did, i think there were 50+ zones when the server went down, that would be very messy and hard to keep track of.
So, i believe this channel is mainly going to be useful for inter-team communications and organising getting as many people into the same zone as possible.
