seriously cryptic ....I reported the same bug 3 years ago in beta.I know people love their ships a lot but we can now take our ships on ground :/

    lmao, so thats what the real size of the ships is.

    most ships are smaller....I know because in the last 3 years I pretty much got them all on esd lol

    Yep, very old bug that pops up when the servers are overloaded and the map transfer from space to ground doesn't actually switch the player model.

    This is canon. There actually is an episode with a ship doing ground stuff. i think it is even sort of to scale. ;)

    Thank you so much for posting this Timelord!:D Had a bit of a rough day and this clip ya shared totally cheered me up!:)

    For all that I adore DS9, I have absolutely no recollection of this episode (then, I likely saw it when it originally aired...what? Almost 20 years ago now?). And was that the Iggy Pop (who ruled RIP!) Vorta there too?

    These ships on the ground pics always amuse me to no end, but this DS9 video clip was priceless! Gotta track down that episode and watch it, either again or for the first time perhaps.

    i think it's happened to me. a couple times, i've beamed into places but my body never materialized. i was just invisible, low to the floor, and had a very limited range of movement. i believe that the people that are the ships don't know that they're ships, they're just invisible from they're perspective.

    Well, I had a similar glitch twice a couple of weeks back - while on ground, I would click a mission transwarp, and instead of beaming out, my character would show the transwarp animation. Haven't seen it again, though.

    Since when did they develop personal-sized transwarp drives? :D

    I had my toon go to warp before. In the game defiance, your character can zoom around in Mermaidman's invisible car because of a bug.

    don't suppose you ever played Elite Force? :D. you get to use a miniature photon torpedo launcher as a handheld weapon. shame the I-Mod never got to STO, having a weapon that goes through Borg shields regardless of their altered configuration would save a lot of headaches.

    I currently have this bug , even logging off and back on doesnt fix it.
    Im stuck as a ship and cant do anything ground related.

    two characters, no ground combat. stuck as a ship in any ground combat instance, esd, memory alpha etc.

    That's the new Star Cruiser Mini. It really needs the Union Jack skin on it, though.

    I now have this on 3 characters , STO is all but unplayable for me ,I came back because I have a lifetime sub from Beta. I honestly cant seem to get past this to continue playing ... :(
