Hi All,
Ive been trying to get back on the game for nearly 3 months now (trying around once a week) but it is doing my head it.
Had the original client installed and Autoupdate failed to connect after about 15 - 20 times and just timed itself out.
Uninstalled everything and swapped over to Arc about 2 months ago thinking the permanent transition had taken place (Not a fan at all, its as bad as EAs Origin) and installed etc...
Now Clicking the play button the Autoupdate launches and does exactly the same again.
I am now living in Uni Property so the network is maintained by their IT services, however I can download things from various sites using various clients, and play Battlefield 3 and 4 with a ping of 25, so cant see it being a network/port issue (other friends also playing on PS3, Xbox and plenty of other games so theres no porting issues at all as far as I can see).
Also tried all the suggested ideas in the connection FAQ such as flushing DNS etc... so properly stumped now.
Any Ideas?

You could try a proxy, lag reducing service that attempts to alleviate the congestion on the Cogent peer link and see if that helps.
Until PWE decide to get rid of their Cogent service connection, those who peer through them will suffer.

Hops 1 - 30 All timed out.
Tried 'Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate' and still says trying to update, please be patient, then after about 5 minutes says;
'Unable to establish connection to patch server. Please check your Internet connection. If problems persist, please contact technical support.'
Any ideas? Or suggestions for an anti-lag proxy?
Its really P'd me off to be fair as ive spent alot of money on the game and can't do squat now because of PWE. Really not on at all...
