That's really not needed. It's already perfectly easy to invite your alts to a fleet as it is.
It's not my fault if you feel trolled by my Disco ball... Sorry'boutit.

I agree. As long as you have invite permissions, you can already invite your alts yourself.

Sure, if you create an alt account. But for those people who decide to stick with just the one account, you have to find someone else to invite your alternate characters to a fleet. And sometimes, that's just not possible, whether due to size of fleet, activity levels of personnel capable of inviting, or just simply that you're not on at the same time as those invite-capable personnel, all that often.
So, yes, I would support a menu addition that would allow feet interaction possibilities, such as invite, promote, etc, to the game, that would let you selct an alt, who can't be logged on, due to the "1 character being actively logged in/account at the same time"

Can't you just go to Roster and hit "Invite"?
Have you tried the new forum on your phone?

I've gotten fleet invites when offline before after arranging them through e-mails so if you have invite ability within your fleet you can in fact invite your alts to the fleet when they are offline just as easily.

What game have you been playing? You don't need a second account to invite your alt to your fleet. I've invited 7 of my alts to fleets I'm a member of. The only reason that you couldn't invite an your alt is if you don't have permission to invite anyone, in which case the leaders of your fleet don't want you to.

Okay, not to sound snide, but no one I've ever spoken to, has been able to. I would like to know how you can do this, presently, if you don't mind posting it. (And you can't say it's because the leasers didn't want me to, as I currently have my own solo fleet, and have been unable in any way, to invite any of my alts on this account. And no, I'm not waiting for leadership to pass to me, from members that left, I am the one that created this fleet.)

Well, you go to the fleet window using the icon at the lower right of the mini map.

Then , well , one of the many screens, i can't remember which one, sorry, but at the bottom right of one of the the panes ( I think the roster listing one, maybe), there will be an invite button. Click it.

A new window pops up to enter the "name@account" of the alt toon.

The next time you log in on that alt, the invite will pop up.

    Done.

Then the people you are talking to don't know how to use the system.

I do believe it is the roster tab myself, as I've invited enough of my Alts that way...

another way how to improve joining fleet is to put when looking/revivng for lfeets, they will add simply button "apply for join" and then when player with sufficint rank can accept/denny jou request, it will be easier than invite sending by recriters :).

    Am I understanding this right?

You got a random (generated) name with a special character mixed in? And now you can't replicate said character?

    Foreign with foreign keyboard?

If not, here's an interesting trick. Look up the ASCII value of your special character on this chart, then while holding down the <ALT> key on your keyboard type in that 4 digit code with the keypad on the side of the keyboard. This will not work with the number keys above the letters...

    For example:

    <ALT> + 0224
    <ALT> + 0220

Have at it... and good luck... :)

Ok, thank you, I'll have to try that. Hopefully it works for me.
    I appreciate the info, (*Bows*)
