Im really liking the concept and how the battlegrounds are i hope to see a pvp version someday. My biggest gripe though is why are the voth are so easy to kill and steamroll? They need to be impossible to kill like the borg and those mechs should not be soloable.
Ive noticed this in romulus and nukara camp and now voth is this steamrolling npcs and flying through objectives. It needs to be more challenging.
Suggestions to improve voth battleground:
Remove bridge officers make it solo based
Improve voth hitpoints and difficulty
mechs need to be impossible to kill and not soloable
overall i like the battleground but going by nukara and romulus there needs to be a change and a challenge otherwise its just gonna be people steamrolling the voth 24/7 and blue map and it will taper off like nukara and romulus have.

Impossible to kill huh? Good luck killing that odd person.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.
Those mechs are like killing hirogen on romulus red alerts. Thier more for show id say. I dont like this idea of steamrolling npcs like nothing in a battlezone its HUGE turn off and the point is its a battle zone not a holodeck simulation.
Id much rather spend my time strategizing and figuring out how to kill those and have them be what thier supose to tanks not just a shiny mech with a force field that shoots one dangerous blast and explodes if you run behind it lol
No they do not need to make it moree challenging, there are going to be plenty of fresh lvl 50 players with no rep completed, requiring a respec, what you would consider junk gear, and far less experiance doing the zone as well as veterans who steamroll anything and everything. If it was made a challenge for vets the new players will be what gets steamrolled and they wont enjoy it and quit. Anything a vet player does should be easy because it wont be for a new player, If it is a challenge for vets then the new wont have a chance. It is called balancing for everyone and not a select few.
It is up to you as a player to make the game more challenging. If you want more challenge then get an alt and do not choose any traits at all, do not use skill points, use only common MK X gear from an NPC vendor, do not use kits, and if you do rep do not choose any of the passives that comes with it. There is your challenge you crave. It is called self control and not getting every single top end piece of gear and passive possible and keeping your character nerfed. It is not hard to do and will save everyone else from having to listen to complaints of too easy of content.

what im hearing is hey dont take my easy mode away. This is a battlezone is suposed to be hard not easy. I did try it with a lower level toon and it wasnt much harder then either.
The way it is now is its going to be just like nukara and romulus just steamrolling everything and within a week the zone will be dead. The voth need to pose a challenge like the borg do.
I shouldnt have to roll alts or put lesser gear on to make it a challenge. The devs should be the ones creating the challenge not us.

Considering you must be level 50 to enter the Dyson Sphere, I find that very hard to believe.

New Romulus is a non-combat adventure zone, a very active non-combat zone I might add. Yes it has a few combat areas, but for the most part it's exploration rather than straight up killing. Nukara is dead because Cryptic removed the dailies, putting them inside of a queue while also tossing on an absurd cooldown for all Nukara missions.
The Dyson Sphere is a decent challenge. To be honest, it's a very enjoyable zone at that. Some things could be tougher, but for the most part it's a good setup. The Voth are actually more of a challenge when compared to the Borg. The borg mindlessly walk and shoot. The Voth use abilities, buffs, and combo attacks on players.

You actually consider borg a challenge? Borg are easier to slaughter then the Voth. Voth have most of the player class skills and actually use them in a proper way. The medics will run up and sonic pulse you and revive and heal their allies the tacs do a lunge attack to get into combat and I've had eng do orbital strikes on me.
Borg are slow moving and only dangerous in large groups, anything less then 5 at once and they can be stomped all over. Only time I've considered borg even a threat was on elite ground missions when I'm stuck in a fairly small area and have no cover while fighting a good sized group of them.

As a side note, from what I've seen, what you get in each individual subzone is dependent on how many players are in that control point. Go grab 5 other people and try it. it gets rather busy

No the devs job is to make fun things to do for all players, new players to vets. Increasing the challenge to vet higher than elite levels would be the complete opposite of fun for those new players and many vets like the feeling of being OP and curbstomp NPC's so that wouldnt be fun for them either.
A devs job is to make better gear for people to use. It is up to you to use the gear or not, using it decreases the challenge and by your own choice you made you make less challenge for yourself.
It is up to you to make the game as challenging as you want by making the choice not to make yourself OP. An adventure zone made for everyone with NO difficulty settings must be made for the lowest common denominator, new players with TRIBBLE skill point settings, no rep, no clue on skills to use, and junk weapons is that low and if you want that challenge in a public zone then it is up to you to make it a challenge.
I myself have a ridiculously underpowered character without a kit on ground for when I want a challenge and the rest of my 7 characters are Op because I want to get things done as fast as possible. I enjoy the challenge of a tough fight but I also enjoy making a challenge of how fast I can slaughter NPC's that a new player or my own underpowered would have a tough time with. I make the challenge how I want it and Cryptic makes it just right for new players without a clue. You are just thinking about your own OP self wanting it harder for your OP characters without caring one bit if it becomes nearly impossible for new players.
