    Thank you for posting this
One day Cryptic will be free from their Perfect World overlord. Until that day comes, they will continue to pamper the whales of this game, and ignore everyone that isn't a whale.

But its too far away for fishing in the moat, what good is a moat for if not for fishing?

It's not hard to get the advance swarmmers I actually came across them by accident my first time then had to look it up on STOwiki to figure how I did it :D

"There are three Hidden Compartments in the Consoles, in the Expanse area, rewarding [Hangar - Advanced Obelisk Swarmers] carrier pets. To obtain them, you must obtain the "Reconnaissance" accolade and observed all six main consoles, but you must get them before you approach the final platform and trigger off the cutscene there. Once you have interacted with all three of the extra consoles (at the dead ends), go back to them a second time to get the hidden compartment option. " - from STOwiki - http://sto.gamepedia.com/Mission:_Sphere_of_Influence

    good video either way

One thing I would like to point out about the Obelisk core, is that it has [SSR], [SSS], AND [SST]

there are actually 4 Dead end's with consoles. one red, one yellow., and two greens. so the infos a little off, unless of course one of them doesnt matter to get the hangers.

Right. Sort of. The final Dead End, following the RED icon, leads you to the console that you need to use to unlock the hidden compartment. There's no swarmers there though, you need to go back to the start and then you get THAT first one and then two more on the way back to the end.

    So yes. Mostly right.

Whatever you do, don't fall off the bridge!

odd though. When i got my advanced swarmers, i did blue to the end, and before getting to the gate platform, i went back, getting all the dead ends, i started with the red one, ended on the yellow one, and got the swarmers.

though i did not know that the other two had compartments as well.

So as long as you go to the Red Icon's console before you finish the event it would seem to unlock the hidden compartment on the first Yellow Icon's console, and THAT console unlocks the next one, and so on.

Or something of the sort. So there may be no need at all to do all the dead ends first. You could just start with the Red, go back to the start and do the first three in order.

Something to try out on a replay! Go go go!:P

The only requirement is to access all the consoles (enough to get the accolade if you dont already have it). Once that's done you can go to the green and yellow consoles and the secret compartment becomes available. You dont have to follow any kind of sequence or go to the last platform or anything else. I have tested this a few different ways.

For now, but we don't know if they will remove them when they remove the Obelisk Carrier reward.

The bridge lacks many functions available on standard bridges. Trophies, account bank slot access. It has library access, though this is of very limited usefulness.

Overall, I rate it unfinished and unpolished. Color score= Drab Grey.

I'm pretty sure the color scheme is intentional. :P

Hey guys, thanks very much for the instructions but would the future versions of the Obelisk swarmers be available for other carriers as well ? It says it in the dev blog that the advanced, elite version is capable for all carriers.
I mean I would like those swarmers with my JHDC. It'll be quite epic

Indeed, running SoI twice is probably a good idea anyway.

Getting both the warp core and the 360 beam array is hugely useful for any AP build.

After visiting the Red symbol console, the Advanced Swarmers show up just travelling back to one of the consoles - it is not necessary to go back to all 3.

Or can I get swarmers from all 3 of them?

You can, but it's kinda pointless to have SIX of something when you can only use 2.

Actually you can use four of them. 2 for the one from the featured episode, 2 more on the Lobi ship. I'm just not sure what the final two can be used on.

Well, someone who gets the Lobi ship isn't likely to need to keep the freebie ship. Just a wasted ship slot.

Hardly. You think there aren't collector's out there that keep all the free giveaway ship's? If so you are wrong.
Well, the point I was making is that you can only use 2 at a time. that and you can get even more by doing an episode replay(yes I tested this)...

Well, most cores only give you one of the three Slipstream mods, this one has all three of them.
