Just a short bit on the carrier, also shows how to get Advanced Swarmers if you missed that part.

This isn't an exhaustive drill, it is an overview that covers the basics of the ships/pieces.

Any IN DEPTH deviltry that you ship builders get up to is by your own design!!:D

I hope this just gives a look for those who may not have bothered getting one, or that perhaps are interested in the LOBI version and would like a glimpse before they shell out all those crystals.

Thanks for posting that. Some snippets of info though: You can score 6 total adv swarmers instead of the 4 listed on that video. All that's really required is that a prior platform has 2 extended walk ways and a double-back. I think it's the second to the last is as far backtracked as you'll need to be.

I really like this ship because it's an emitter power house. It means while most people will choose load outs (like the one in this video) you can actually augment your defensive shielding while further bolstering your healing skills by packing in emitters. The romulan emitters are perfect choices for further augmentation. Eventually I may post my results/findings when I have a working paradigm in order.

Finally a multi-directional support cruiser with a unique bolstered defense for a fantastic support role. I'm shocked emitter sales haven't spiked or I'm mistaken since I haven't quite checked today.
May good management be with you.

Yesh, the video does mention to get all 6 swarmers. Some folks have mentioned that you don't need to do so, or to do exactly what the video says but the video is based on the assumption that many people would choose to get all the swarmers available.

An odd point. I very rarely ever see a console layout like the one in my video being used. My builds are notoriously emitter heavy and armor light.

If you like, or if anyone would like to, check out the budget build section for some highlights on how and why to stack the emitters with limited armors.

Normally I work with just the base models, because anyone can get those, but if anyone that can apply that can certainly work it out with the Fleet and Rommie versions.

    Cheers and ty for watching:)

Yeah you're right. Watched it again and saw where it says to get two more pairs after the initial. I glazed over that surely.

I only mentioned that much because your build showcases a power insulator console, an emitter amplifier(shield regeneration) and an emitter(healing).

By what I've gleaned on only means the ship can both amplify its reactive antiproton cascade emitter while giving you more flexible prowess in insta-heal for both the player or an ally. Coming from somebody fond of them like yourself, I'm sure you can agree about what fun that means in PVE and PVP.

Surprised that wasn't the initial configuration or maybe you did give it a shot and haven't had a chance to mention it?

I really enjoy supportive/highly defensive ships and this was one of the rare types they've introduced that provides a great console to that effect.
May good management be with you.

I guess I just don't follow you. The build in the vid does have one of each base level emitter for repairs, and one for regen. That's roughly 3 more than most builds. Okay maybe two more.

I don't know what you mean about the console. If there's some sort of emitter array that works with them that also provides repairs it is news to me. I'll take two if they exist.

So if you get to purchase some of the consoles and get to test them out let us all know. Just don't purchase them all first please. :)

Yeah sorry, there. I did haphazardly jot into reply as though I meant the console itself. Apparently that early in the morning for me is travesty for my writing skills. I meant to insinuate that the reactive antiproton cascade emitter on board(3pc) = boost for the insta heal for both yourself and for allies all the same as well as when you activate EMTX the pets will also pick up a weaker version as well making them all that more effective.

I thought I was going to see that in your video because of the tool tipping and since your build only had one of the emitters, I thought I'd mention it. The other one you have on there is only for your own shield regeneration rate. I'm just going on a hunch but I'm thinking with 3 emitters and with emtw (Going to test aux to bat too just in case) there should be some benefits there that are noticeable.
May good management be with you.

    Nice video.

    Quick question.

Why would you want to get all 6 advanced swarmers?

You can't use them on other carriers.

Because they are shiny, and purple quality, did I mention shiny?

Actually with S8 I'm pretty sure swarmers become universal for carriers.

I think I get it. You mean the 3 piece bonus. That is interesting. Yes I do not know if emitters on your ship will have any effect on your pets.

I do know that the EPTx duration for the pets was shortened. It originally was full duration, weaker version. I do know that the boost in power level is significant for the pets because the normal profile for pets is 50 across the board.

I do know from parsing that W and S does provide a good boost to damage and to shield heals. My pets normally did stellar in damage done, and highest hit over other swarmers. If the highest hit was 10k by others, I did 14k.

I run the damage control doffs to keep EPTx just cycling. So the way it worked out was my pets always had E or W or S up and running. Anyway that's been toned down, now you get ten seconds.

As far as why get all 6? Honest I don't know. You can even go back and repeat it over and over and over and over...

I got 2 for my standard, 2 for my advanced, and 2 in case...like the man said...maybe they go universal. I dunno. Hell I kept my baseline set for archival purposes.

TY for commenting and watching and if you test out those power settings/emitters etc yes please let us know if u get better heals etc. Or if there are doffs that proc on use of EPTx will proc on your pets power levels as well. Hmm....never thought of that. I'm not even sure how to easily measure that.

    Citation please.

I think it would be great, but I am skeptical as people would simply run this mission as opposed to paying dil/etc for fighters.

One last thing - the swarmers have a glass jaw rivaled only by the elite widow fighters which are only good at dying.
