Ferengi Marauder set

A question to anyone who has the Ferengi Marauder set:

The Rapid Fire Missile Launcher - is it more similar to a torpedo launcher or cannons?

    It uses Torpedo powers, so technically I guess it's a torpedo launcher.
    You're just a machine. And machines can be broken.

    Torps. It does little against shielding, being kinetic damage. Fires about 1 rocket a second, and torp powers affect it.

    The missile is also 180 degrees, can be used on any ship, but MUST be put on the front of a ship.

    It's pretty low damage, but very fast to fire.

    Rapid Fire Missiles are also effected by Torpedo High Yield and Torpedo Spread but their damage is pretty low. They're better served on say a carrier where you're just adding some constant damage alonside your pets and Sci-Abilities.

    They look cool, though.
