duty offcier problem

I got 2 rare duty offciers for my carrier, one for recharge time of hangar pets and the other for more accuracy for my pets in intercept mode, i cant equip them, each time i try i click ok and nthin happens, i bought 2 uncommon versions of the same duty offciers i can put the one on that gives me accuracy but the hangar bay recharge time wont at all, even if i try that first, i have enough space but yet wont equip, anyone know why?

    Sounds like you might have bought DOFFs from the wrong faction.

    Pay close attention to the background behind the doff's head in the icon. Is it a fed symbol, or a kdf tri-foil? Or even a rom green fade?

    So I have these 2 duty Officers, and for some reason I can't equip them both. I get an error saying "You cannot equip more than 1 items of that category". But they are different.
    DOFF #1 = Mike Jerrod Abram; Gravimetric Scientist (Space) Chance to create an aftershock Gravity Well.
    DOFF #2 = Tanan; Gravimetric Scientist (Space) Reduce Cooldown on Exotic Damage abilities when creating anomilies.
    So they are clearly different, with different abilities, and they should be able to BOTH be able to be equiped.

    Just as a note, I can equip either one, but not both together.

    They're both Gravimetric Scientists. You can only have one of those at a time and need to choose which of the powers you want. There's others that create aftershock tyken's rifts too. And of the three you can still only have 1 at a time.
