Does not really seem to matter much, after I set it up for one of my engineers with antiproton beams, turrets, and a chroniton torp on the fore it can take out anything with ease...I suspect the swarmers will be nerfed soon they might be a tad OP...;)
This setup will grant some good shield Tankability, DoT clear, and Control Immunity. I'll probably settle with 4 AP beams (including the 360 degree one) and end up using the Breen transphasic torp up front and a Nukara Web mine as well.
The ideal situation is where I land Tractor Beam/Warp Plasma combo and drop web mines behind them while they're stuck. The mines, warp plasma, and breen torp complement the pets, as they all go through shields.
I cannot stress how much timing this build requires because the ideal situation is (in almost every case) too good to be true. In PvP ships would be flying with some pretty crazy anti-crowd control builds that may or may not be chained. However, if you happen to be able to sneak in this combo at an opportune moment, the results can be quite devastating. Until then, your standard Defensive cycle should be enough to keep you alive.
Whether your pets survive this long...I wouldn't count on it, but it would be nice to consistently launch transphasics at your opponents with no end. I do believe that the Carrier Pets Launch commands are affected by Aux2Bat. If not, a high Aux power level (timing with EPtAux) and 2 flight deck officers should be enough to replace the lost ones whenever necessary. Have fun!
