Is anyone else having trouble getting the Special Tray to show up on their HUD? I can see it when I go to rearrainge HUD, but it doesn't show up. . . Any fixes or work arounds for this? Is it a bug?

I can't see my hangar tray anymore after the mission...
The Hangar bays are working fine for me. Did you unhide them in the rearrange options?
I think he means the special tray that has the 2 swarmer launch icons and the special console button. I think you need the Lobi console in order to unlock it, but don't quote me on that.

I will check the Lobi Consortium after completing Hearts and minds. Thanks.

Ah, that one. Yeah you are most probably right, it is tied to the special console from the Advanced version..
The special UI element you're referring to was only designed to be shown while you are flying the "temporary" version you are given during the course of the mission. The standard versions of this ship do not have that special UI element.

Any chance of the standard ships getting this handy carrier tray? It would be cool.

Our intent with this tray was to alleviate a pain point for forcing players to fly an unfamiliar ship on a mission where we almost immediately throw them into the thick of battle. We've placed the ship's most identifiable abilities into this tray so that players unfamiliar with Carriers and Consoles won't miss the biggest payoff of flying this ship in combat.
If you are selecting this ship as your primary vessel, you have time to peruse your portfolio of abilities, and make your own decisions on how to arrange them in your power trays. What hotkeys you will assign to them, etc.
It wasn't our intent to introduce yet another button tray for every-day use. Players should have plenty at their disposal at this point.

could we please have the option to use this tray for the fighters and other special powers i really liked it and was sad to see it go after the mission..... also PLEASE remove lobi store version of ship and put the console as one of the optional rewards at the end of repeating the mission please. dont want to be opening boxes for random amounts of lobi for a single console.
Yes I don't like to complain but being used to flying carriers I would also like to have the tray and I can't see why Cryptic would not allow this simple UI element to be at our discretion to use it or not...:)
i really would like to have it as well. it's even in the hud arangement after u leave mission, why not just give captains the ability to chosse if they wanna use it or not?
roms got sings-tray, cruisers got comm-array-tray... plz give carriers their tray as well, even more because it's already there .

I for one am really glad you did. I happened to be playing on the wife's laptop when I got to the battle. Small screen = all trays overlapping. I couldn't get to half of the buttons or even see my BO abilities. Not on ly that, the wheel is broken on her mouse so I couldn't scroll out, and couldn't recall the hotkey for it, so I spent the entire fight zoomed in to the view of the new carrier and couldn't' see what I was shooting at. If that new tray with the launch commands hadn't been hanging there, I'd have been carved up like the Christmas goose.

Ok so we can't consider it an error that it doesn't work on the regular ship. That said can we get an option to change the orientation of the second main tray, that it is only vertical makes it damn inconvenient to configure on an already seriously cluttered UI.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
