Spiral wave disruptors or Fleet beam arrays?

Hey guys, what is the best beam arrays to use?

The Spiral wave disruptors or fleet beam arrays?

As I've understood fleet beam arrays do more damage than Spiral wave disruptors but the spiral waves have 2-procs like the romulan plasma weapons.

So, which one and why?

    Spiral Waves are the best you can get outside of a full romulan plasma build. Fleet stuff doesn't match up.

    It would be a shame to not use them if you can.

    Spiral Waves have 2 full procs and [Acc]x2 [Dmg]x2, a pretty enviable combination. Downside is that the phaser proc can block the disruptor proc. Klingons would probably prefer the Elite Disruptor Arrays.

    Definately the Elite Fleet Distruptors. I use the damage accx2 and dam ones which also have the +25% shield damage proc. Plus I have 4 plasma procs from my sci consoles on my EFDs.

    If you're KDF and have access to elite fleet disruptors, get those.

    Otherwise, Spiral Waves do perfectly fine.

    Spiral Waves because you have to get the Galor first.

    That makes the Spiral Waves a status symbol. That means they fit the Rule of Cool.

    Well I'm a fed and using fleet disruptor beam arrays on my cruiser, but was thinking of getting a galor from the exchange for the spirals but I only have 50m EC at the moment, so it'll take me a while untill I can get it :P
