Well, although most of the Cardassian fans left pre-launch and Cryptic has decided to keep the Cardassian people in a shroud of black smoke. Myself and my friend will do what seems to be a daunting task of re-establishing the Original and ONLY Cardassian fleet in Star Trek Online.
I had attempted to gather Cardassian fans in a neutral location with no obligations (no joining fleets or anything) which doesn't appear to have been desired. SO, we shall transform into a fleet and whomever is a Cardassian fan can join.
So, the origin of the fleet name is based off of a rare gem found only in Cardassia. Jevonite is a dark orange color.
The Jevonite Order
Races: Cardassians and Alien (which use the backstory of a member within the union).
NO to Dominion races, Klingon races, Federation races, or Romulan races.
We are focused on
A. PvE
B. Roleplaying
C. Foundry Missions
D. Dabble in STF and PvP
We are not focused on
A. Building Fleet stations (It becomes more of a job to build the station rather than the main purpose of the game which is to have fun.)
B. Mining/Creating (Once again it can become more of a job)
Future prospects:
A. Mature; although age is not a deciding factor
B. A player which places more emphasis on building a character (what kind of ship would this character enjoy flying) rather than power mongering trying to get the biggest strongest toys to prove something. if you already have it and that is what you character would want fine, but we want RP deep members not robots with toys.
C. Knows how to respect others by being courteous at all times. We do not harass or spam or even grieve outside of our little circle on fleet forums (STO is not the place to grieve.)

Q: (KeithCrimson) When do we get to play as a Cardassian?
Dstahl: We've been holding off on having playable Cardassians and Romulans for the time being as we envision having a complete faction devoted to these races. That is the only reason we haven't added them as playable species in the game yet. They are reserved for future expansions. That said, depending on what our timeline is for future expansions, we haven't ruled out the possibility of having a few Cardassians or Romulans appear in Fed/Kdf ranks. So this is very TBD still.

Was the biggest slap in the face against the Cardassians, as Federation and Klingons began utilizing Galors stolen from our people. For that insult, we shall strike back.
The Jevonite Order calls upon all Cardassians who seek the return of stature amongst the Alpha Quadrant to join our proud order. For to long, the Federation and Klingon Empires have tried to dictate our lives. They made agreements and although we complied with our part, they abandoned theirs. They call us deceitful and corrupt but their words are as thin as water. Their pledges are no more than feathers in the wind that hop from one breeze to the next never standing firm on their oaths.
They speak of alliances, but they mean subjugates to their Empires. They half heartedly aided us in fear that if they did not an uprising would ensue. We are not slaves and shall be free once again from the burdening yoke of the quadrant and we shall prevail once again.
So join the Order and bring pride back to the Cardassian spirit.
We do not fight in the Federation/Klingon war
We command ships in Starfleet; but ARE NOT members of Starfleet. Our focus (RP based) is on the return of a free and independent Cardassia. A Cardassia without the interference or meddling of the Federation.
We are ALL CARDASSIAN
We are focused on Roleplaying though we also participate in STF, PvP, and PvE; members are not forced to participate in aspects of the game they do not find enjoyment in.
We have decided to take this role within the STO universe because Cardassians are the MOST IGNORED AND LEAST POPULAR.

The True Way supports open conflict and aggression against the Cardassian Government and those who support the government. The True Way rejects all aid from all factions.
The Jevonite Order seeks to influence the Cardassian policy via the people and protests against the consideration of seeking membership into an expansionist society as the Federation. We do not attack the sons and daughters of Cardassia, rather we defend all that is Cardassian.
We acknowledge that although GUL Dukat was a power hungry tyrant, we also acknowledge the reasoning why he sought alliance with the Dominion was based on the continuous build up of Starfleet warships along Cardassian borders, Klingon invasion, and the Federation violating its own prime directive by involving itself in what was a Cardassian internal matter (Bajor).
We claim that the Federation has constantly incited conflict with the Cardassian Union. Compare the volume of warships they assigned along the Romulan and Klingon neutral zones with that of the Cardassian Neutral zone. Starfleet's constant aggression towards the Cardassian people and its pro-active practice of expansion is the basis of all major conflicts in the Alpha and Beta quadrants.
A Hybrid anything with Cardassian falls under Alien generic (which is accepted). IF your character believed and lived as a Cardassian.
A full fledged Alpha Jem Hadar would not be accepted. They invaded Devos II in the name of the founder (according to STO archives). So, we treat the full fledged as enemies to the state.
Now, remember that there are a lot of "racist" among Cardassians and if you look to much like a Jem Hadar many Cardassians would treat you with disdain unless they knew you growing up. Many Soldiers (well old school Defense Force guys and former Soldiers) and those whom lost most or all of their families due to Jem Hadar's last action on Cardassia Prime... Many would still hold a grudge.
1. WE ARE COLLECTING CARDASSIAN LOCK BOXES AND GRADUALLY OPENING THEM IN HUNT FOR AS MANY GALOR CLASS CRUISERS.
I will be depositing any ships into my account bank and members will be provided a ship after completing their first month of membership (supply dependent and seniority by approval date will apply) until all members of the fleet have the opportunity to fly in a Cardassian vessel. Members must meet the rank requirements to fly the vessel. Current inventory is classified.
2. WE WILL NOT HAVE A FLEET STATION UNTIL CARDASSIANS ARE PROVIDED A PLAYABLE FACTION/SPECIES.
We will focus on back stories, Roleplaying scenes, and having fun until then.

The CUV Delmar had been assigned to defend the Avenal system deep within Cardassian space. Even as all Jem Hadar and Breen forces consolidated around Cardassia Prime, Gul Nador's orders remained. The days leading up to this final battle were quite stressful for the military commander; She spent hours in her Command Office thinking of her three children currently staying with her parents on Cardassia Prime.
Marritza knew the end was coming for Cardassia; with the founder sacrificing three Orders so far in the war, she would certainly sacrifice the entire military to suit her cause. The reason Marritza was so far from the battle as were most of the Cardassian forces was the founder's attempt to prevent any sedition within the ranks during the fight. The Gul ordered her crew to strip the Galor down to the bare minimum for survival reasons and contacted several Ferengi merchants to conduct trades.
As the time approached the CUV Delmar was more a disaster aid vessel filled to the gills with food, water, medical supplies, blankets, tents, and various other support products. Most of the items were pretty worthless to the Ferengi merchants, but they always had a way of obtaining the items customers wanted.
Marritza had also sold two of the Distruptor Cannons for four more operational cargo ships filled with building materials. The crew thought she was crazy.
A chirp of her communication device alerted her to the arrival of Cardassia's most hated enemies and the beginning of the end for Cardassia. Marritza had her bridge officers patch the networks into her office as the battle lines had been drawn. As the strikes began, messages from the 2nd and 3rd Orders were being received keeping the non-combatants aware of the battle conditions. For a while it appeared as though the lines would hold; Marritza was astonished that this force with so much against it could possibly win this battle after all. Then came the report from the 11th Order defending sectors on Cardassia Prime.
Of course Cardassia will survive."

Is exploring the various quadrants not enough and you want to explore a culture and people whom have been neglected in the aspects of canon development?
The Cardassians need dedicated patriots to rebuild that which we once were. The Jevonite Order leads the way in rebuilding and seeks to overcome our challenges as an independent entity. We have already experienced what happens when allies approach us with what they claim are "good intentions" and the loss of millions was the result of our naivety.
Do not be fooled by the Federation's "demonstration of good will" their true intentions ARE NOT to help us become equal and balanced within the quadrant. They seek weak minded civilians to place into our government in order to control the policies which shackle all Cardassians. An old proverb says "Beware of Humans bearing gifts" and we should cherish this proverbial warning and secure it within our minds.
The Federation has ulterior motives in what they do, they are an organization established on expansion and conquest attributed by the so called membership of over 200 civilizations under the yoke of the Humans and Vulcans. The far end of Cardassian space is unexplored by many in the Alpha Quadrant and only the Cardassian people hold the Federation at bay from its expansionistic protocol. Once the Cardassian people are conquered the buffer no longer exists and the expansion continues.
The Federation also seeks the disciplined Soldiers which are renowned throughout Cardassia's history. The greatest warriors in space only the Klingons are capable against us. For a union which claims peace, this same Federation has a longer history of conflict than any other organization in the Alpha and Beta quadrants. They will utilize the trust of the Cardassian people and send us to the front lines to be lambs to the slaughter in their pursuit of expansion. DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN.

Seeking loyal Cardassians to rebuild our proud culture and strengthen our society. We are the primary group partaking in construction of various institutes and leading agricultural projects.
The Federation seeks to make claim that they are the primary source of our successful rebuilding program. The fact is that the Ferengi loans, OUR Mining projects, OUR scientific research, OUR Type VII Commercial Lab, Trade with the Romulans ARE THE sources of our success.
The Federation wants to claim that they provide security for our people, our colonies, our planets. If this is the truth, what happened to Devos II? It was invaded and conquered by our enemies with NO response by the Federation. Some will say, that Cardassia has no claim due to their participation within the Dominion, I respond that the Jem Hadar have even less claim because they were Dominon to the Death and didn't belong in the Alpha Quadrant.
We need trained Soldiers, trained Engineers, and trained Scientists to continue the rebuilding. We must rebuild and send the Federation occupation back to their own borders. They do not aid us in good faith or good will, they have ulterior motives of conquest and seek to make Cardassians the next servants chained in servitude to the Humans and Vulcans.
The honor is mine. I pledge and press on for the future of the Order & The Cardassian Union. I shall take my responsibilities in the Beta Ursae Sector with earness.

Honorable Legate,
For sometime now I have been a member of Federation Fleet. Its Fleet Admiral is Darren Wright, a well respected man who manages and runs a fleet of many species from all parts of the universe. I have relayed to him my intentions in aiding the Cardassian Union in its quest to reestablish itself as a free and just Union. Your quest is known by many and many are unknown. I have made my intentions know, for there is no fear in doing what my heart yearns to do good for the Jevonite order.
I pledge to you my assistance and obedience for your(our) cause in bringing Cardassia Prime to the hieght of its once past greatness. Only now with a new understaning for its people and their honor. Bringing them from the ashes, to light of greatness through compassion. It is true (STO)many have forgotten your plight and dont recognize the Cardassian people. But I believe, if my great pride don't decieve me, we shall succeed and be recognized to all as a great species worthy in its own right. I believe Legate Nador, we are a proud people and the door for diplomacy is slightly ajar. ethanADAMS has many hats and characters, But Laan Jaheel is a Cardassian and will die as such.
