What space set to I start working on for my escort?

So my build is here:

http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=mekender2_0

Only thing not on the build is my Nimbus Pirate Distress Call

I am finishing up the Omega torpedo today, and then will be a day or two away from being able to start working on a space set.

The question I have is, which one do I go for?

Omega, MACO, Assimilated, Adapted MACO?

I only really do PVE, and mostly Elite STFs...

Also, any tweaks to my skills and boffs that might be a good idea?

Any other gear or skill suggestions?

What about ground suggestions in terms of gear, sets etc...

Thanks!

Maco if you don't don't have a Plasmonic leech and get shot at alot.

Adapted maco if you do have plasmonic leech or use many torpedoes

Omega if you don't get shot and have high flow capacitors

I prefer the assimilated set. The heal procs are make up for this rather sub par set
    Chive on and prosper, eh?

Redid your boffs, this will give you a big boost.

I'd recommend getting the plasmonic leech, some embassy consoles and a zero point energy console.

Hope i gave ya some help

From a quick scan of the Exchange, a Plasmonic leech is out of my realm of affordability for a long time, the cheapest one is 11m EC, and since my max EC right now is 10m, that makes it an impossibility.

The embassy consoles are in the future for sure.

I do get shot at a fair bit, but once the CE event ends that should lessen a bit I think.

I will look at the boff recommendations, thank you.

You're definitely going to want to get that ec cap raised for at least one of your toons, you can make over 600k per day per toon really easily, before factoring in normal play, so that cap is quickly going to turn into a very real limitation on how much ec you're able to have. Fortunately it's relatively cheap to raise it, even if you convert dil to get it. (The account bank is also nice, its ec storage is either capless or follows your highest cap toon, and it winds up being a highly convenient storage system that also lets you transfer a number of kinds of gear between toons. Not essential though, unlike the cap increase, you can make do with sending items through mail and not transferring account bound stuff.)

Doesn't raising the cap count for all toons?
I was once DKnight1000, apparently I had taken my own name so now I'm DKnight0001.
If I ask you a question it is not an insult but a genuine attempt to understand why.
When I insult you I won't be discreet about it, I will be precise and to the point stupid.

You could always use the Jem'Hadar MK XI set it is good and only requires you to do some story missions.

    Yes

Raising my EC cap is on the agenda but the dil to do that is, at this time, in my opinion, better spent on the rep set first. By the current rate, it will take me like 90k dil to get the zen on the exchange.

My suggestion, start with the Breen set, which is easily obtained from the Breen episodes. After that, start working on which ever set gets you excited:)
