    The problem is not survive the fall. The problem is you're stuck and you cant get out without a GM help.

    I had to pick up a mission from a featured episode series and open the journal and transwarp out.

    I had this problem today as well. they should make a killzone near the floor that just kills you instantly if you manage to fall down there. or plug up the holes in the map.
