Ground Zero Bugged on Tribble

Tonight my self and m fleetmate Whiterook, tried to run Ground Zero.

Tried submitting ticket in game, and it timed out.

Get int the mission,l talk to the Reman commander, blah, blah....

Go to Hobus 3, and scan the silver fragments. The IRW Sithesh and a Mogai escort spoawn up. We take the Sithesh down to the point where it cloaks and runs off.

The Mogai escort? Holy undead zombie Batman! No matter how we pounded on it, the ship would sit at 0 hull, no shields and it stays alive, not letting the mission to progress.

We exited the mission, dropped it, waited for 40 minutes, and tried again.

Same results.

    Look at the mission objectives- you aren't suppoosed to kill it- you're supposed to "observe" it.

    Um... no, I'm at that problem now (the Mogai that won't die) and the objective says "Defeat IRW Sithesh." And since the Mogai won't die, the next objective of scanning the planet core doesn't happen.

    can someone tell me how it is that IRW Sithesh so incredibly strong?
    Before I shoot, I'm already dead.
    and I've got a very strong shield and hull.
    and this happens every time I run the mission and a every rank!!!

    So I hope this will be solved soon.

    you might have to take out the mogai before you take out the sithesh. it might get bugged when you beat the Sithesh first.

    So I went on the Ground Zero mission today, had the first (attacking) encounter with IRW Sithesh, scared it away, then come the second time I got it down to 30(ish)% since then all it's done is get back to 100% no matter what I threw at it or how how long I attacked for, I've submitted a ticket (ID #1,376,439) but that's not appearing in tthe My Tickets list... There's no other vessels in my case though, so nothing else to destroy, and yes, the mission goal is "Defeat IRW Sithesh"... Any help?!


    Also I say 'went on' I'm still on, sat waiting for either a team or a GM to help out!


    ***Seems to be fixed again, got it down to 90%, now to finally destroy it!***

    OMG..i didn't play STO so often but nevermind..i managed to reach lvl 30 as captain and took the fird ship an exploration cruiser..i have fit it with what i had best on me and my inventory and took again for the fourth time in this lousy mission..the result...well died again,and again and do you whant to know the rest..one question!!!why did i bother to reach this rank when an AI is beating me every time!!i do something wrong or what??i don't have the ship in order!!!tell me!or maybe can someone explains me how he took down this ship in the first place..i mean i didn't even reach the planet surface i'm still struglin' to pass this ****ty ship in the first place!!!

    1. Nice necro.

    2. Brace For Impact. Works wonders when you're getting hit with heavy torps of any stripe. Also, Polarize Hull is good for tractor beam immunity--and you don't want to be held like a fly in mud with three heavy torps coming straight at you. Also, target his torps--they CAN be shot down.

    If you don't have/don't want PH, use whichever attack pattern grants immunity to movement debuffs (really, half asleep and can't remember which one)

    Keep shields up, as there isn't much that's going to go straight toe-to-toe with a D'deridex-class Warbird and win--at least not at that level. Shields happen to go down and heavy plasma torps tend to ruin your day.

    Get past that initial spread of heavy torps and he's not that hard. If you're lucky, one of them will go off right next to him and do half, if not all, your work for you.

    FYI: If you're having a hard time with the first encounter, you're going to hate this mission. There are THREE encounters total with the Sithesh in that mission.

    I HATE THIS MISSION!
    no matter what I do I can not get past the ship on the first stage. it always seems to kill me. i have tried everything i couild think of and still it blows me up. This mission is not winable!

    There MUST be a bug.
    I am immune to tractor beams. I call my Nimbus Pirates. I shoot everything I have on the I.R.W. Sithesh. Once I got it at 37% but now none of my attacks seems to have effect - with all the torpedoes upgrades, Pirates and stuff it has always 100% hull and no shield damage whatsoever.
    What can I do?..
