Join in on the Omega and/or Romulan faction quests.

Join a fleet for an opportunity to obtain better ships.

Join a big active fleet. I am in a small (58 character total), personal fleet. I did not start it, but have risen to 2nd banana due to my support of the fleet and starbase - over 75% of the overall total resources came from me. However, we are still at T1, T0 (base, emb). As for me, I still help, but have switched most of my meager resources to producing rep items for myself.

Therefore (the point of the story is), join a large fleet - better chance at resources, able to have enough people to do STFs together instead of PUGs, and so forth.

    Cheers

This game doesn't really start until level 50.

1 - Finish any story missions you haven't played yet (the rewards will scale to your level).
2 - Replay completed story missions you liked (again the replay rewards will scale to your level).
3 - Work your way through the two current reputation systems.
4 - Max out all tiers of the Doff system and complete all Doff mission chains.
5 - Join a fleet and help level up their starbase and embassy.
    6 - Run Daily missions.
    7 - PVP
    8 - Run STFs.
    9 - Play Foundry missions.
    10 - Make Foundry missions.
11 - Grind Dilithium, exchange Dilithium for Zen, use Zen to buy a new ship from the cash shop.
12 - Participate in ESD shenanigans.
13 - Create an alt and start over.

The multilplayer part of the game starts at level 50. Sign up for a fleet, do some PVP, do some of the Omega reputation PVE, etc

also, you can create a KDF toon and try out the missions on the red side. some of them are very good and the Birds of Prey are nice to fly.

I just finished the last of the episodes yesterday, even though I hit VA some time ago on my main.
It was pretty cool running through the last of the Undine stuff.
Now I will start moving towards getting the Romulan Mark stuff underway and the Omega stuff while I wait for the level cap increase.

Of course, I also have other characters I am leveling as well.
But I want to get my main ready to run all the new stuff when it comes out in May.

This. The level of grind in this game is disheartening: disappointing, even.

    1. Join a fleet

    2. Figure out what ship you enjoy the most

    3. Grind out your reputations

    4. Power creep the sheet out of your chosen ship

    5. Beat no win scenario

    6. Do accolades...
    Chive on and prosper, eh?

I hear pvp is always looking for fresh meat. I little bit of that and you will either be inspired to grind for the best gear or uninstall. As others have mentioned there is a lot to do but pvp will make you feel alive.
