Crystaline Catastrophe Event - Mislabel

Now the day has come where we turn in our rewards. But something is off.


The Event Label said you get 250 Marks of your choice........yet when I turned them in they were 900 Marks. Was this a mislabel or was the reward boosted by the Fleet Mark Event?

If it's the later.......wow so many people are going to be upset they finished it outside of the Mark Bonus Event.

    Okay ran numbers with a certain someone that we all know.



    Fleet Mark Bonus Hour = NO BONUS FLEET MARKS (Does not affect Omega, Romulan, nor Nukara....as far as I know.)


    Fleet Mark Bonus From Consumable = VERY SIGNIFICANT!

    You get 500 from completing the Event (along with the 50,000 Dilithium), Plus the 250 from the Box. Which means a total of 750. But if you have the FM Consumable from your Starbase, that will get up to 900 Fleet Marks!

    So load up into the Green my Friends. It's payday!

    Yeah, but the Mark bonus is a fixed pool. Whether it's from the Crystalline Cataclysm event project or running Fleet Alert a dozen times, the total amount you get from the bonus pool is the same.

    the most ive gotten from the ce event mark box is 80 fleet or nukara marks for first place in the event.
    Star Treking, across the universe. Only going forward because we can't find reverse...

    They are referring to the completed turn in of the reputation mission.

    Meh, I knew it was too good to be true.

    Still, enjoying the 250 Rom marks, those are a pain to farm. :/

    Am I the only one having trouble getting into the Crystaline Catastrophe event? Whenever I try to play it, it says server not responding, then I'm disconnected. Keeps happening again and again.

    True true, but she'll be back and you can earn Romulan Marks again. But right now if you need it for Reputation the Tau Dewa Sector Daily is sufficient.

    I wish I'd thought of that, but alas I just opened the 250 by itself. Oh well.

    IMO the CCE should give you CHOICE of any mark, not just nukara or fleet. Why is it limited to nukara? It has nothing to do with that, other than sometimes there are tholian ships around it. There are also mirror ships around it, and often MORE of them! Why isn't it a mirror event?

    Rhetoric aside, I'd rather have my CHOICE of marks be a real choice. Let me skip the over-hyped rom content (which annoys and pisses me off more than interests me) and get my rom marks via the CCE.

    Forcing people to play a certain way is a recipe to drive away the player base.
