  I don't dislike ground combat nearly as much as a lot of people. I do think that it's perhaps poorly designed at times, such as some of the elite grounds, but Cryptic took the easy way out in some ways instead of actually making the gameplay difficult properly. Artificially upping difficulty isn't fun.
  
  Hopefully the ground combat in S8 is done well and it's not just more of equipping a ground set and slogging through it for an accolade.

  I enjoy ground combat personally, I'd do more if they rewards weren't way below that of space combat. Compare doing a space foundary mission were you get say a blue warp core vs. one were you get gagh, or trix soda, or at best ground armour, and that only occasionally. It usually don't pay to do ground combat.
