I know i know, but let's think of it, a Soveriegn-X.

Dreadnought class attack ship.

sure the Gal-X is damn great and it is satsifactory as is, but what if we made some advances?


I'm not saying we do this now, but instead do it when the timeline ticks over to 2413 since we've been in 2409 for four years now.


that and in lieu of a phaser lance, put a new federation hangar capable of launching frigates.

there are plenty of ways to design it to fit a new type of hangar.

    I'm not to sure about that. I think it would be over kill really. We got the sovereign and we have the regent class, and with the Avenger coming out, I don't think it would be anything special unless you put some sort of super special power that would make it desirable. However, consider that with the new comm array abilities, any super cool extra special power that would be added to a ship like that would throw game play balance off yet again, maybe not in PvE, but in PvP for sure.

    I was thinking more along the lines of having that curve at the bottom of the Sovereign converted into a docking port of some kind, engulfing the rear shuttle bay as well.

    Id love a new sov variant. And with it I want the nacelles to glow/move just like they did in the movie. Similar to what the cat carrier has going on.

    Get an idea here.. (the red part of the nacelle), kinda moves around and stuff :P(2:28 into the flick)

    Wow, that Sovereign with the third nacelle is just really..... really bad looking.

    How about instead of that, we get a version of it that throws in the mission pod from this old concept art?

    I would like to see an Odyssey-x where the third nacelle is connected by pylons going to just below the regular nacelles.

    ah yes the old NX Noble.

    how about instead of the pod, a third nacell be placed in the center?
