I'm tired of Borg. Heck, I'm even tired of Iconians, and I haven't even shot one yet.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
Absolutely yes. Not only that though,I wish this new feature episode would hurry up and get here, and also season 8 too.
The current content is getting very monotonous, stale and boring now.
New content is needed now.
The Borg "arc" ended with Hive as that completed the storyline, didn't it?, there's really no need for anymore new ones for them.
Hopefully they will be planning the first of a new arc of STFs with new enemies and releasing them at regular intervals, would be nice if they are - if the lockboxes don't get in the way.
I'd rather see some of the current STF's revamped in such a way that they are easier to play with strangers. What I mean by that is the ground missions require people to know what they are doing, whether it be 3 players inputting codes at the same time to shut down generators in Infected:Manus, or disabling the power nodes in Khitomer in Stasis. Half the time the team just can't figure it out. Perhaps they could add some instructions at the beginning of the mission and not let it start for 60 seconds so people have the time to read it. If you look at the queues, the only missions where people are lining up to play are Infected:The Conduit, Khitomer Vortex, and sometime Infected: Manus, and it's because everything else requires everyone on the team to know exactly how to deal with the intricacies of those missions.
I'd like new STFs with new mechanics, idc if its borg, undines or ewoks, if all are the same mechanic. What about some sneaking, jumping, climbing, stealth... Descending from your ship in parachute like in JJ Trek, dunno, something new...
Am I the only one who would want a Romulan related STF? Mine Trap depends on too many people, the other queued events only give out a pittance for the time invested (I could finish two STFs with my fleet in the time it takes for one Nebula Rescue or Ensnared and get eight times the marks).
My Romulan Liberated Borg character made it to Level 30 and beat the (old) Defense of New Romulus with the skill point bug.

I'd definetivelly like to blow some romulans, and arch involving the end of the friendship with New Romulus destroying the iconian gate and all romulans inside. That'd make me cry of happiness.
There really isn't any need to keep beating that particular dead horse.
This. Like the Daleks, once you beat them so many times, they cease to be a threat and are now little more than an annoyance.
Task Force Omega might have been formed to fight the Borg, but D'Vak does state that it could be used to fight the Undine and the Iconians if need be. Why not let us go up against one of them, with a new Rep that rewards on par with Omega gear.
You're just a machine. And machines can be broken.
I'd love new stfs of any flavor. I would like them to be more challenging then the elite variants of the borg ones, and have impressive rewards. So many of the existing queues aren't time effective. The shuttle queues come to mind, all of the romulan mark queues, some of the tholian mark queues, some of the fm queues.
I'd rather they finish the Undine STF series to be honest. The Undine STF's were originally meant to be like the Borg ones, with an ongoing story covering a few events, but they they abandoned it and never returned (this was at the same time that they kept remaking and tweaking the original 3 Borg STF's and remaking old missions instead of making new ones).
So yeah, make new STF's, but finish the Undine storyline before moving onto any new enemies.
Comments
Some Undine, Tholian or maybe Voth (upcoming enemy) stfs would be great.
Bleed Green and Gold
R.I.P
I'd play the hell out of that. Would be nice to get something major from the KDF point of view, and have Starfleet "along for the ride" as it were.
And this is coming from a primarily Starfleet (4 Fed, 1 Rom-Fed, 1 KDF) player.
But here's my frequency, so hail me maybe?

Would justify the fluidic tribble I paid 2 dollars for at launch.

With pink angel wings?
No, seriously, anyone who played the last 2 years of SWG would know what I mean.
