Starfleet Exploratory Division

Dedicated to the founding principles of Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets, Starfleet's Exploratory Division is currently forming. At the moment, we only have a few members, but we're striving toward the creation of a thriving STO community.

Our current emphasis is on building groups for end-game content and discussion of UGC, but players of all interests and playstyles are welcome.

    I have just written a short story which I think would be suitable for a new Star Trek Next Generation episode or film, but I don't know who to submit it to. When I wrote the story I didn't use the names of the Star Trek characters because I submitted it for publishing in a sci fi magazine, but it is based on Star Trek. I was very pleased with it when I finished it. Do you think it would be possible to email it someone on a Star Trek website. I've been trying but so far I can't find anything like that.

    I'd advise you to focus more on Star Trek fan fiction organizations than anything on television. Not to discourage your creativity, but Star Trek's future on television is a dead end (at least right now.)

    Also, I think you may want to post this as a standalone thread in Ten Forward. At least, that's where I'd put it.

    A quick bump back to the top, with a big thanks to Kuvak for all his efforts putting this thing together.

    SED is still looking for more friends to hang out with. We're still very small and new, but the people we do have are enthusiastic and active. For as few in number as we currently are, the number of projects we've been able to complete is far beyond what should be expected.

    If you're looking for a fleet where you're not just another face among a hundred, where your contributions are noted and matter, please consider Starfleet Exploratory Division. It's a chance to get in on the ground floor of something and help it grow and develop.

    We run regularly scheduled Foundry missions and STFs, and are always looking for more to come along.
