Returning and Seeking a New Fleet..

Hello,

I joined STO back in the beta and bought a life time membership. I left for a long while and now I'm back.

A lot has changed in STO and my Fleet is not around anymore. So I'm seeking a new fleet to join. One that will take into understanding I have been out the game and be willing to help me catch up on all the changes.

I hope to find a friendly Fleet what likes PVE, and to group up and do things as a fleet. I have a 50 Federation and 24 Federation and a few lower levels.

So if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Take a look at UFPlanets.com. I joined them in March of this year and found them to be very friendly and helpful. They have weekly events scheduled and you can usually get a Fleet Pug going on the fly via Chat or Teamspeak.

Starfleet Operations Command, love new recruits, and or returning vets. Were are a good group of guys, very family orientated group. We do group up for things but most of the gang to tend to solo content, as they have been playing for along time and know the drill.

You mentioned wanting strong support for PvE and a fleet that is helpful to those that have gaps in knowledge, well yes I think UFP fits very well on both of those. Obviously it is important you make the right choice for you though, whilst you have given us a good idea of what you are looking for I think you need to make sure you are happy with what any fleet is offering you if you do decide to join so there are a couple of points I would just like to make that I would recommend factoring in to your decision.

1) Are there any times of day that you tend to play in? A great number of fleets tend to be active for certain sections of the day but activity drops at other times of the day depending on what country they are based in so I would strongly recommend taking this in to consideration when narrowing down your options.

2) I would also be asking questions as to what is required of members. Some fleets insist on members contributing in-game resources to their fleet or attending a certain number of events, again this is going to be something that you will want to think about when making any decisions.

Please don't think I am trying to dictate anything to you it is just that I always find it important that the fleet is right for the member and the member is right for the fleet and just want to try to help you make the right decision for you. Good luck!

I'd like you to consider the fleet I fly with the 11th Order. We're a pretty small fleet (we do have 355+ "members" but many of them are alts) and we have a number of quite skilled and knowledgeable people who'd be happy to take the time to get you up to speed on all the changes.

I've had a few people come back after a while and I know it can be daunting looking at everything that's different.

Having said that it won't take you long to catch up and you'll be flying around pew pewing like everyone else

If you want advise and a friendly fleet that will help you accomplish what you want in this game then ask to join my fleet: Elite Defense Starfleet.

We're not a massive multifleet mass like some but we're not small at 400 members.

Feel free to contact me @bpharma in game and I will at least offer advise not just on what has changed but also about going forward with either your characters, rolling new ones, species etc.

Dear "Nec",

I would like to throw our fleet as one of your choices. We are Liberty Task Force at www.libertytaskforce.com. We are an 18+ Tier IV fleet (Embassy/Dilithium Mine fully completed) with mature members that still know how to have fun. We are a very community based fleet and every member of the fleet has a voice. Because we are very community based registration through our website is required now to join but TeamSpeak 3 is still optional, though we do encourage its use.

We usually have enough players on to fill at least two STF's at any given time, we've also been known to fill a 20 man Fleet Action just by ourselves. If you do decide to join us you come to us at a very exciting time, we just restructured the fleet and ranking system to make for a better gaming experience. There are no true times you need to be on but we do ask our members to log into the game at least once every 60 days to know that you still play the game and are interested in the fleet. We feel this is both fair and reasonable. We are starting to setup a role-play section as well as PvP for those interested but neither is required if you're not into that. Promotions in the fleet are based on total contributions to holdings and access to all provisions stores starts at just 100,000 total contributions.

Be sure to visit our site and check our www.libertytaskforce.com/aboutus page to get to know more about what we stand for. Again, our fleet is only 5 months old so that should give you an idea of the organization level of this fleet. We have so much more planned for this fleet. Epsilon Force is always looking for new members. We're a fleet that prefers our members to have fun and if and want to, contribute to the fleet projects.

Also we're more than willing to help people with missions and the new changes, after all the game has changed and evolved so much since its launch. You will often find me and others working as a team on the PVE challenges, such as the STF or Romulan Missions so there's plenty of that. We're a small fleet but we like to be friendly and are looking to expand.

I am only on at weekends during term times as I am in university, there are many other players online that use our raidcall chat server, and we are all mature players, the contacts listed below have plaid since beta and are between 32 and 50 yrs. old. (Only 1 teenager in the fleet, but they are welcome)

You would be welcome in our fleet, we have 166 members at the moment.

Join and have a look, if you don't like it you can always leave. It?s also easy to progress through our ranks and take a leading role within the fleet, you can contribute and be as involved as you like, so if you only log to do a quick mission or want to run missions with others, you will find both styles of play within our fleet.
