what will happen to the lock box ships at the next rank?

at fleet admiral i would hope to see a player refit ability. meaning i could bring a constitution class up to max level if i so desired. also this would allow us to keep our special lock box ships up to date with max level. any thoughts?


ps i also heard they are skipping the admiral rank and going to fleet admiral? is this true and why would they jump the shark like that if so?

    Honestly, I am not holding my breath that there will be a T6 ship. Given that people are pumping money into the T5 (or T5+), the idea of an increased level cap coming with a next higher ship class will... aggitate many.. If history is any guide, it will take less than 2 days for a current Lvl50 to achieve the next rank... thats a short way to go to invalidate the current C-Store, Fleet, and Lockbox ships... I just don't see them doing it.

    It has been said 100s of times that Connies, Mirandas and the like will never be T5.

    However... If you are talking true lock box ships, Like the JHAS, Tal-Shiar Adapted, D'Kora...etc I agree.

    It would be nice to be able to level these. If nothing else due to the shear cost of getting them.

    I think they've already said that no ship tiers or gear Mk level will be increased with the level increase. That it's purely just a player level increase.

    They could develop a T6 C-Store console to boost hull (3000), turn rate (1 degree) and .1 shield modulator...

    well think of it this way. they can give us a fourth fleet project to work on. a full shipyard where we can upgrade and edit our ships. i think it would add a massive amount of individuality to the game. been doing this since day one and i've never bothered with the forums but maybe the devs will get a few ideas if its seen.The ability to shift console slits as needed should be attained with fleet admiral....if a fleet admiral cant retrofit....who can? lol

    no not a console then something would be lost in the ship like a tac or eng console. more like a starfleet rep project to upgrade the ship to t5.5 or 6. i think they would do that more than anything because it keeps players online doing rep. players online equal money

    sadly what is going on is paramount has their noses to deep in cryptics junk. I Think if they stayed out of it a little bit more then they do now the game would be much better in terms of customization and available ships and story lines. but thats just me.

    Paramount has nothing to do with this game, CBS is the one crpytics pays money too for access to the license.

    Nothing. There will never be Tier 6 ships.

    this is why i rarely post. to many brace face virgins looking to point out mistakes in forum posts rather then offer information. paramount ..cbs all the same thing to me. when i was a kid i watched cbs to watch the ld series in reruns. but they have done little as of late so even if they are the owners paramount has done more for trek
