I'm bummed...no ship chef or bartender

So I'm trying to make the most i can of Doff assignments, still new to STO so checking through all the options, and it turns out I don't have any Doffs qualified for chef's credentials, no Doffs for chef or bartender.

Wish one of these passengers would fill in....don't even remember where that menu is that lists how many non-officer passengers....

    You can buy them on the exchange. That goes for every type of duty officer.

    Ah didn't think of the exchange, preoccupied with personell officers and officer vendors...thanks for the tip.

    You can also fill holes with various tier rewards or store purchases if you have dil to spare.

    Go into Exploration Clusters and Look for a Very Rare DOFF Mission that's a Time Anomoly (Nexus), that rewards you with a free Very Rare El Aurian Bartender.

    http://sto.gamepedia.com/Assignment:_Investigate_Temporal_Anomaly Not just star clusters. The assignment can be found in some sectors as well. The assignment is very rare and hard to find. Out of my 9 characters, I have 1 that hasn't found it yet.

    The good news is that the doff is tradeable and you can find it on the exchange if you search for "Rulian Mazan" under Civilians>Bartender, though it will probably cost quite a bit since you can only get the assignment once per character to get the doff. Keep in mind there is a fed and KDF version of the doff so make sure to buy the correct one for your faction.

    Yeah... make sure you buy the right faction Doff... I have a gorn... I think that is what he is for the KFD on my fed ship. He can't do missions. And I have never seen him around... maybe he is in a cargo container... or the brig. At least he does not cause any problems so he can stay. Unlike that pesky tch... she gets hurt all the time, and then has to go to sick bay.


    Anyone else have eight missions fail and all the doffs end up in sick bay? That was annoying.

    I'm waiting until I've got enough extra crew to send 19 Doffs on a 20 hour Holodeck Performance of Hamlet.
