Hi i love the TOS Era weapons They are not as Strong as my Mk XII Rifles but still.
Is it possible to bring the Star trek II, III and VI Phasers into the game too. I mean we have ships of that Era and even the uniform (even though the Rank insignia is still always "Captain" and not customizable) So it would be nice to see the other Weapons too. Maybe as Mission Rewards or as C-Store Pack with the fixed uniform But not as Lobi Store or Dilithium Items. .
And it would be nice if there was a way to get the Bajoran Phasers without having to buy the really expensive DS9 Bundle. We get the TOS Phaser as two different versions so why not these.
And another suggestion. Since we have Tholians now could the Damage type of the TOS Era Klingon Disruptor be changed to Sonic since it was a Sonic Disruptor if i remember correctly
I would expect a lobi store upgrade eventually for some of the TOS equipment. I'm still hoping the CStore/Fleet Cruiser exeter will have TWOK phasers on it.

I want the somewhat matallic, sleek rifles from late DS9 & TNG era films. i.e. the ones that actually look nice. The ones that look more like this, not those strange white sticks with a diamond on the end, not the silly holographic white/chrome ones we have, none of those silly bulbous and/or spiky designs. Nice weapons that kinda look like weapons.

What you should all be asking for is a phaser with a darn gunsight on them. I mean besides pointing them at your target how the heck do you hit anything with them?

Magic computer science?

Ahem, those were originally introduced in Voyager, and then used in the other productions you mentioned.
I agree with this. Weapons used from the shows and movies. My Boffs has at least 1 of those more unique weapons. Specially from that Specters mission chain. Even the Romulan Disruptor and JH rifle gets used.

I'd love to see the pulsing phasers from Star Trek 2. That could easily be a reward for a featured series that could be repeatable and scale. I'm not in favor of more pay to win gear....even though I usually land up getting it anyway, and I don't think original and "older" gear should be on par with the MK 12 gear, because it is newer gear. I love the look of the phase pistols from Enterprise, and the original series bundle weapons are my leveling go to gear, but compared to the new gear it should not be as powerful. its the same as today's weapons. I'm looking to go into combat, do I want a modern military issue weapon, or a flint lock rifle?
I'd be happy if we could simply turn off the TRON-esque glowy stuff on the weapons already in game.
Although it would be nice to be able to obtain MK XI or XII versions of "the classics" for some of my "period" characters, such as:
TNG / DS9 Phaser Rifles
TNG Hand Phasers (Including the Dustbuster)
TWOK / TSFS Hand Phaser
Where No Man Has Gone Before Laser Pistol
ENT Hand Phasers & Rifles

We should be able to craft a personal weapon. We select it's energy type, fire modi, damage modifiers and customize it's look like we can "customize" a starship. They should offer specific "costume" options for each era since frankly, there are so many canon weapons missing.
We got the TOS weapons that are in game
We are missing all the original Klingon War weapons (twok movies) like assault phasers etc.
We are basically missing all the TNG era weapons (type 1 phaser, type 2 phaser variants, type 3 phaser rifles ("siege of AR-558" variant, VOYs compression rifle and a late movie variant without the glowy stuff)
Most of the non-starfleet issues are payweapons only
I don't get it.
And the Klingon weapons look stupid as well. Why are there blades and pointy ends on "more advanced" disruptor pistols?
^ Memory Alpha.org is not canon. It's a open wiki with arbitrary rules. Only what can be cited from an episode is. ^

It is even more stupid that Klingons apparently holster these bladed guns by ramming the blades into their thigh. Just take a look at a holstered MK XII Disruptor Compression Pistol.

You can thank World of ******** for that one.
It became apparent very early on in raiding cycles of Vanilla WoW that the devs had a philosophy that the more powerful or more "elite" a set of armor got, the bigger and more pointy the spikes got on it.
This set a precent in all MMO games that followed, as a manner of giving players a means of feeling "epic" and setting themselves apart from other players.
STO is no different. Look at the Borg ship sets for example. The more of the set you get, the more ridiculous and over-sized the assimilation effect gets.

Heh, if you use the shard of possibilities your quantum doubles use that very rifle.
I would personally like to have Tolian Soran's disruptor. Complete with the moving gun barrel that rotates 90 degrees when you're ready to do some pew pew.
If anyone at Cryptic is reading this thread, I will lay down cold hard cash if you make this happen. This is potential money to be made.

Also please add to the Lob store,
Nemesis Phaser!
and ...
VOYAGER PHASER!
I hope STO get's better ...
how about instead we demand this stuff to be the next Featured Episode SERIES reward for friggen free!?
Maybe because people know it is much less likely to be made if it is given away like that.
