Hi,

Thinking of getting some elite fleet or advanced fleet (i cannot remember which do the x3 ) Disuptor Beam arrays MK XII [Acc]x3

Which consoles would maximise the damage output for these please?

Better beam array suggestions welcome :)

Thanks.

Though you would be more interested in the consoles that buff Disruptor weapons...

Now the best Disruptor Beam Arrays in the game are the Spiral Wave Disruptor, but you have to own a Cardassian Galor in order to purchase them from the Dilithium store...

And don't forget to look at your Tactical BO skills, such as Beam Overload, Beam Fire at Will, etc...

The fleet beams only go up to [Acc]X2 with other stuff added on. If you want the [Acc]X3 then you will need to either get a really lucky drop or buy one on the exchange, although if the latter be prepared to shell out a few million energy credits

Also if your running a lot of beam arrays anything that will help guard against the power drain. Maco 12 shields help some or there is the plasmonic leech (just don't use them together) . If you go plasma there is also the experimental beam array which doesn't use weapons power at all.

what are the current thoughts on the Plasma-Disruptor Hybrid Beam Array from the Past Imperfect mission? I've considering using them on my recon sci vessel.

They might carry you until you can get the Romulan Reputation Plasmas, which have a built-in disruptor proc. However, I did some number crunching a while back and determined that, at least from a solo-use standpoint, Fleet Plasma [Acc]x2[Dmg]x2 would pretty much always outperform Romulan Plasma [Acc]x2.

Here's the relevant thread for the above: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=799111

That said, my thread was comparing plasma weapons, not disruptors, but it's something to consider at least.
