We were having some problems with the normal version today as well. Getting lanced from both sides while close to the Queen and I got hit with something that knocked me from ~1km from the Queen to over 5km below ship 1. Did the Borg get TBR all of a sudden?
They fixed the Hive like they fixed hangar pet AI :rolleyes:. After reading the patch notes my friends and I decided to give the Hive a try. I was right on top of the queen, I even checked my bar to see that I had the under the guns buff, and I still got lazored!! I like a challenge as much as the next guy, but this just amounts to hitting your head against a brick wall.
I was looking forward to trying this again. I guess I shouldn't surprised that TRIBBLE-tic failed again. Too bad as it was one fun mission.

Im still offline (about 2 weeks now) for PC repair, but HSE is possible (hive space elite) just heavily annoying 1HK all day, the Devs have repeatedly "fixed" this mission but yes they typically just make matters even worse if you can see that...
The lace one shotted all of us several time, using ACT we notice from 200k damage up to 600k!!!! :eek: No matter how many armor or defensive buff you have, it's too much.
also FBP is a bit too strong.

The lance is supposed to kill you. What do you expect? It does not matter if it hits with 600k or a million. Or do you want to build a space-brick cruiser and tank the lance shots?
The conditions where the lance cannot target you ("under the guns", etc.) should work though. Maybe a dev could confirm that they do and that they have tested it.
An animation that shows you that you are targeted by the lance and that you have to take immediate action or you will die would be cool. Something similar to the ground version.
And even Ryan in his "op build" dies. But I see no tears in his eyes...

To re-iterate the point which you have missed:
The lance was patched with the aim to not be able to target you when beyond 20km, cloaked or at full impulse. It would also traditionally not target you when close to the Queen.
None of these conditions now apply. Unimatrixes will now hit you with 100k+ whenever their bugged AI feels like it. There is no skill involved in this. Boasting with some faceroll PvE video changes nothing.

The more HSE cry topics I read the more i realize that most of you guys can't really tell the difference between getting killed by a lance or a Torpedo Spread III...
So please don't say bull**** like "I got lanced when I was near the queen for 12135134963 minutes, it doesn't work". If you see that happening all the time, then record and post a video of it... I'd be glad to prove you wrong.
Another 'everyone is wrong except me' post? And another example of you missing the point that you've only done this in an organised premade team and it tends to be PuGs that experience this problem.
It really isn't much good spouting off about how everyone is wrong when you haven't actually experienced the enviroment that the bug tends to occur in - but I guess you are just too good to participate in a PuG and you'd rather just sit in judgement of everyone else's inability to be as uber as you consider yourself to be.
This is becoming quite a habit for you.

Difficulty vs. Reward <--Think the reward is lacking big time, considering the amount of repair components one must use. The time it takes to que a pug team, and the people that just leave and give up is another big area of concern.
And that's why it not worth my time to play hardly at all if ever.
