Fleet Ar'kif tactical warbird retrofit ?

Bought the Ar'kif retrofit today, and I noticed in its universal consoles description that theres supposedly a fleet version of this vessel available. I go to the ship requisition NPC on DS9 to check it out, but found out that it doesnt exist. I visited New Romulus, fleet starbase and Qo'nos, too, (my Romulan is KDF allied, does the same happen to FED Romulans?) just to make sure. I would love a fleet version of that ship, and I dont see why it wouldnt be implemented - after all, it exists in that console description. Hopefully its just the case that someone forgot to flip the switch to "ON" setting :D

There is going to a fleet version of this ship eventually. They just have to decide where to place the 10th console slot, and decide whether to rework the bridge officer station. Otherwise it is a tooltip error on the universal console. You will have to decide for yourself which one it is.
No sense fearing the inevitable. We all die. It is how we face that death that matters!

I wish they changed ensign engineering to ensign universal, for the fleet version at least. Other than that its all good. And, since its a tactical warbird, itll probably have additional tac console...

Hopefully they change the Lt Sci BOff to a Universal instead. That way you can choose whether to have a Lt Sci or a LtCmd Sci (and not require both with only an ensign engineer). That way you would be able to run 2x EPTX's, and still have GW for NoWin, very important.

The 10th console slot will most probably come in the form of a 3rd engineering slot, to differentiate the ship from the Dhelan and many of the others. A 3rd engineering slot on this particular fleet ship makes the most sense.

This makes the most sense to me, this is basically the romulan Armitage equivalent.

I wonder how long it'll take em to release the fleet Ar'Kif.

Hopefully they'll fix the 2 bugs the regular Ar'Kif has first. Namely the Focused Singularity Beam bug and the cloaked while Annihilation mode is activated bug.

Yeah, being stuck with nine console slots on a ship you're using at end game kind of sucks. However, even with the focused singularity beam bug, the ship is already quite powerful and on the edge of making a couple other warbirds obsolete, so I think five tac consoles should be out of the question. I agree that engineering is the most sensible.

But anyway, not sure why the Avenger gets a fleet version right out of the gate but not the Ar'kif. If that's something they do to protect Z-store sales, I can understand that, but in contrast to a lot of other ships the Ar'kif's special console is pretty essential to how it plays and well integrated into likely Rom builds, so people probably aren't going to be jumping over it to go straight to the fleet version. If it's a matter of testing and deciding... get on it please.
