How much impact does Nukara T4 have? I don't want to grind.

I'm so sick of Crystalline Entity and Azure Nebula Rescue.

The problem is that if they keep adding rep systems then the few percent each of them give is quickly going to snowball into a 50% advantage over someone with no rep.

This has already been discussed at length in other posts. But I agree, they should make it account wide for completion

But on the flip side, Cryptic wants people to be online and to be able to show to their board that they have higher numbers of ppl online. Granted they may only be rep grinding, but it's still a number nevertheless.

do transdimentinal tactics, in 3-5 minutes you get more nuk marks from that then a Crystalline Entity and Azure Nebula Rescue combined. its lol ground, but thats not that bad a thing really. its failable with horrible players though.

if you can run aux set to 70 on your ship, its super worth it. so on romulans, not so much no mater what. AtB builds tend to get next to nothing out of it too. nerf AtB :rolleyes: on said ship with aux that high, try to pare it with doffed AtD.

i have 2 chars nukara tier5, and one in tier 4 and i NEVER completed a single crystalline entite in my life.

Wait for the bonus mark event (2 times per day, every day, and last 4 hours each), do transdimentinal tactics and/or vault esnared, they take only 10mins each.

I usually grind marks once per week, during a bonus event. In 2-3 hours i can grind marks for fill 1 week of the 3 reputations tabs

I have 12 alts, 7 turned into facebook clicky dil mules (all kdf), 4 are stuck at 11 (all FED), and only 1 has ever bothered to farm anything. And that 1 guy sucks up ALL the dil meaning that the KDF slaves remain well... slaves.

I wish it weren't so. I really have a huge problem with not having Legacy-wide reputation...

Hrmmm, it's +25 to each of the three skills listed at 125 Aux - I know I've got a more detailed post on it somewhere, but I'm not awake. Maybe I'll find it later.

I'm the opposite, I refuse to run Vault Ensared. It is boring & slow.

CCE is "easy" if you have a halfway decent team.

I usually set these up myself and recruit from a small handful of global channels.

The key to CCE is easy, a few ships need to bring:

Any combination of Tachyon Beam, Tyken's Rift, E-Siphon, other Sci BOFF Debuffs, etc.
Aux power is irrelevant.
Skill investment (captain skill tree) is irrelevant.

You simply need to have some of those abilities running most of the time to strip the CCE of the stacking +damage/+resistance buffs.

The best way to deal with rep stuff is thus:

Wait for the Winter Event and farm the hell out of epohh's and collect marks that way.

As for whether T4 is worth it on Nukara, I don't really see a difference for my ships. T5 has a neat special power that is fun to use, but doesn't add much in PvP fights from what I've seen. Not that I won't use it then, just I'm not sure it helps much unless you spec into it somehow (and no, I don't know how).

This. Because digging in the ground over and over is actually more fun for me than doing any of the space or ground missions that give Nookera marks.

True. The grind is whats killing me. My fleet mates are complaining for quite some now that I am actually grinding more than actually pew pewing.

It does give satisfction too and the knowledge that at least that part of your build isnt lacking.

2 rom tacs on tier 5 all, 1 sci rom almost tier 5 all, im satisfied.

3 toons is all i maintain.

Have you ever stopped to consider maybe they don't want you to just max out your umpteen toons on all the rep then QQ about not having anything to do?

Just saying. If they added 12 more reps today I think it would be great.
(provided it wasnt the same boring content for each one)
You'd be forced to make some decisions. Actually customize your toons instead of just 'maxing them out'

Thats great, by the time the guy filled all 12 new reps, the newcomer pvper will be utterly bashed, oh wait that wasnt the case already.

You can make a 4 year gap betwene old and new players and dont expect any new pvper to come to this game haha.

Correct, at Aux at 130 and with two copies, you pretty much are running siphons all the time.

I started grinding the nuka marks on one of my characters a couple of days ago. Putting a tedious grind behind an extensive time gate is not good for accessibility. And that says nothing of the questionable mechanics or the illusion of content.

Transdimentinal tactics taking 10 minutes? Get a tactical officer to team with you with 3 DoT duty officers and the fire team kit, then have them drop a super buffed plasma grenade on the tholian leader. Cryptic promised us a fix between the plasma grenade DoT interaction and the DoT security officers when they "fixed" them. Unfortunately no fix actually happened for that part of the problem. Even white DoT doffs will stack to the moon for every half a second something is in the fire, to the point where you will deal close to 35,000 damage. Phase 1: 8 seconds, Kill rifts: 15 seconds, Phase 2: 8 Seconds, Kill Rifts: 25 seconds, Phase 3: 8 seconds. Done, enjoy your 40 Nukara marks.

How much impact does Nukara T4 have? I don't want to grind.
