2-piece console bonuses

Every single Romulan ship has these, I think it's time that the Fed ships that have 2 consoles/weapons in their class gain bonuses, like the Romulan Warbirds.
Cloak + Quad Phasers (Defiant)
Phaser Point Defence + Torpedo Point Defence (Akira, Death Blossom anyone?)
Saucer Separation + Antimatter Spread (Galaxy)
Wide Angle Quantum Torpedo + Metreon Gas Canister (Sovereign)
Nadeon Detonator + Ablative Armor (Intrepid)
Tachyon Detection Field + Tachyon Detection Grid (Nebula)
The Excelsior would also have had a 2-piece if they didn't nix the T5 console.
So, c'mon Devs, lets see some 2-piece console action for these Federation Stalwarts.

These two come on the same ship it would be a bit unfair to give them a set bonus.

Works if you put the AMS console on an Odyssey with Chevron Separation, too.
It'd be even more unfair to force people to equip the Metreon gas console.
Yeah you've got me there. You buy this ship for the Torpedo and the BOFF layout not the Console. Perhaps they should change the console to be a bit more useful, maybe it should fire a Metreon canister at your target which expands a gas cloud around it which your fire than ignites. The catch is to get a bigger cloud you need to hold fire.
No Klingon ship is eligible for a 2P bonus. Romulans if you have the Refit and the Retrofit you get a Bonus. Fed side you have Refit and Retrofit combinations.
There are no Retrofits KDF side except the Vor'cha R and that's a Dilithium ship with no console.
I don't include the Fleet Retrofits for 200k as they don't come with consoles.
Now I don't think this is a bad idea, because if anything to implement it they need to make more Klingon ships. I'd be happy with 1 BoP, 1 Raptor, 1 Cruiser and a new Klingon Sci vessel T4 & T5 combo like the Romulans just got with the Tactical Warbird.

Their is a B'Rel Refit with Enhanced Induction Coils console could do something if it is equipped on a B'Rel Retrofit. It would be a Console ship set rather then a 2 console set. Or Could do a raider 2 piece bonus with having any 2 consoles from a Bird of Prey and 3 piece with any 3 and if you have a 4th console from a Bird of Prey they can do something.
Their could be a Nausicaan 2 piece set with Plasmonic Leech and Theta Radiation Vents Console that comes from 2 different Nausicaan ships.
A Orion bonus if you have 2 different Hanger Bays that come from C-Store Orion ships.
A Gorn 2 piece Bonus if you have 2 from any combination of Barrier Field Generator,Aceton Assimilator or Repair Platform and 3 piece bonus with all 3.
A 2 piece Raptor bonus with Bio-neural Warhead and Graviton Pulse Generator.
A 2 piece Battle Cruiser bonus with Magnetometric Generator and Isometric Charge
With the current Romulan 2P bonuses one piece is locked to a specific ship. If the Klingons where to get what ever bonus available to any ship it would look very unfair.

The Cloak needs to be a Battle Cloak same as Klingon and Rommys have.
The Quad Phasers needs to be changed to a console to be on par with the Romulan version that just came out.
I toally agree that the romulan ships are making kdf ships look bad in terms of value, and love your idea of these themed 2 piece bonuses, but reading this list I almost hope it doesnt happen.
Raptors spewing the most annoying, uncounterable cheese console in the game (grav pulse. hate it)? Running both, and getting a bonus for it, would make one of these the most irritating pvp oppnent ever.
Same for Nausicaan. The last thing that would be good for pvp is encouraging even more players to run both of the two most potent p2w consoles at the same time.
Nothing game-breaking about the orion or gorn sets though. Would love to see them (and would give me even more reason to scrape up for a dacoit to get the interceptors). Especially if it gives the ships a nice new visual. hmmmm.
Not so bad fed side either, though we dont have to pay zen to get both plasmonic leech and vent theta (though for some reason us fedders some unable to coordinate to save our own skins in pvp and thus get slaughtered most of the time regardless).

Why not have the set bonus be the Battle Cloak upgrade? Seems legit to me and doesn't break game that much for the Rom and KDF. Cryptic even says the Defiant is as close to a BoP as a Fed can get so why not give it the battle cloak
Klingons only have Battle Cloak on BoPs. You don't want the Defiant dropping down to BoP hull and shields do you? Although in this age of Romulans Battle Cloaking everything it seems an invalid argument.
Quad Disruptors and Quad Plasma are both Weapons not consoles, I see no logical need for them to be changed to Consoles. Let alone just Phasers.
I see a very valid need for Quad Cannons to be given a Advanced Fleet version. Just make it need a set of Quads to trade up.

Well they could make the console bonuses have to be equipped on the type of ship you get them from like the Raptor consoles need to be equipped on a Raptor any Raptor. The Nausicaan consoles on a Nausicaan ship any Nausicaan ship. The Gorn 2 piece set on any Gorn ship but 3 piece only possible on their Science ship. The battlecruiser set only works on a Klingon battle cruiser any Klingon battle cruiser. The Orion set is only one with a problem no Orion 2 hanger ships so they can work on any ship with 2 hangers. Would be good if they made a 2 Hanger Orion ship.
Or, give the Orion ships new consoles (maybe a set seen on the Federation ships).
