Halloween Event Idea!

Ok so I was thinking about all the events and holiday events they we have and I thought: Hey why not do a Halloween Event. If we did have one what would could we do and stuff.

Maybe a ship or Halloween customs, or even bob for apples, lol. We could even get a new emote like the Zombie dance.

It is just a thought and wanted to share it will everyone here. If you don't care for it or if you think it would be cool leave your opinions, thoughts or ideas here. All comments are welcome. :P :D

    Come to think of it, yea. I for got all about that mission. I might have over thought this. But, hell I don't care. I did love that mission last time we had it.

    I'm actually glad it's a limited edition mission, makes it all the more fun to do whenever the chance to play it comes up.

    I don't know. My 1st officer makes fun of me every time I put the Jack'O'Lantern on my Ready Room desk as it is...

    Imagine what she'd do if I dressed up as Batman for the day. Spider webs on the bridge would be cool, though. :D

    Ghosts (Devidians?), Ghouls (?), and such? Would love to see a group costume party where you could buy these one use skins...

    And my Hearts and Minds (yes, I'm a schitso time lord, in another life that is) are all for the mission "Hearts and Minds" being brought back.

    Maybe this needs to be a week end event, so we could all enjoy all this could offer?

    Come on, that mission was released around Halloween. It is also terrifying. So there.

    Look at the calander in-game, its already there as an event on Halloween, as in a few weeks on Friday the 13th.

    I love this idea. The event could be hosted on Qo’nos with Fek'ihri ships offered as rewards, and the Fek'ihri featured as prominent figures of the event.

    Actually, the look of the Breen ships is suited more to Halloween than Xmas anyway IMO.

    That mission fits Halloween far better than Hearts and Minds. The scariness factor of Hearts and Minds is meh compared to What Lies Beneath.

    well, if they offer for limited time /(and to buy againt at hallowen time) c-store costumes like zombie, skeleton, or even 8472/devians/alien of your idea costumes it will be great too.

    Indeed, and come to think of it, they already have you turn into a devidian ( Among other things) when you question Q's power , how hard could it be to turn that into a Holo emitter for a themed event?

    Halloween Event anyone??????

    I would like a Mine trap event similar to the mirror invasion. Mine trap is an awesome mission, but it is also one of the few 20-man queues you cannot do solo.

    Get it known.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    The Winter Event and Summer Event are both nice. Unlike a Halloween Event, they are based on a longer period of time that is experienced world wide. Granted that the seasons are different depending on where you are. Unlike winter and summer, Halloween isn't celebrated everywhere. If we have a Halloween event, then at what point does it stop? What about an Easter Event? A Ramadan Event? A Bastille Day event? With the Winter, Summer, Anniversary Events as well as all the other grinds like Mirror Invasion, we always have stuff going on. There are enough events right now IMO.
    When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.

    "What Lies Beneath" was originally released on Halloween. ;) That was long before "Hearts and Minds" came out.

    With that said, maybe they could add a special reward to that misison, only available at Halloween?

    You do make a valid point. Perhaps framing it as a Harvest or Fall event would be more appropriate. I personally enjoy the idea of seeing old STO content used in new ways. In addition, the possibility of winning another starship can never hurt.

    I would really love to have a Halloween event....

    I really really would

    Something along the lines of the Dr Crusher Episode where she had to bury her Grandma on that Scottish Highlands planet, and she met that alien at her grandma's book club.

    Just without the bookclub.

    Maybe more Ichabod Crane & the Headless Horsemen story-esque.

    Just any autumn event would do. Like, to coincide with the summer and winter events. Also, a spring event.

    Maybe it's because I'm from Ohio, but I think the other seasons need attention as well.

    Ugh. That was one of the worst episodes in all of TNG. Please don't look there for inspiration.

    Not sure if that is the best example for TNG horror. Considering the ... ahem... pleasure Crusher experienced during the episode. :p

    While a Halloween event does sound like it could be fun, I kind of think they should focus their efforts on "real" mission content.

    Speaking of TNG horror, the scariest for me was "Night Terrors". That one scene where Dr. Crusher hallucinates in that room full of corpses gives me chills to this day.
