If you have not heard of this game, it's an MMO being made over in Korea, and it's called BLESS.
This is what I know about it.
1. It will have 10 different races, each with its own extensive history and territory.
2. It will have 2 realms ? Hierapolis and Cosmopolis ? that enter into a fierce war in the name of religion and philosophy.
3. It will use Unreal Engine 3.
4. It will have Siege gameplay, meaning attacking the castle type stuff.
5. It's being created by more than 150 developers with extensive experience producing top-class games in the genre.
6. It's set in medieval fantasy theme that is story-driven.
7. When you reach max level, your characters will continue to develop through end-game content that are all intricately tied together, and the world around you will react differently based on your status, accomplishments and prestige.
8. PvP is a give after posting the above.
This game I think is set to be released next year, and from what I seen of it looks good. But until I see Beta footage, I am not going to get my hopes up.

I quit playing about 2 years ago. When Cata turned into a fail. And I played it before BC expansion came out. I just couldn't play it no more. Since then I found STO and been on this since.

Fleet Admiral Stowe - Dominion War Vet.
Dark Souls has THE BEST sword/axe/etc. combat ive ever had the pleasure of playing with.
Indeed. What's the exp needed from level 15 to 16, 30 million? Do I have to sit in one area for 6 months and grind for 3 levels to get the next quest because I'm not a high enough level and have no other quests? Oh God, it's Silkroad Online all over again!
As for bless the only game thats ever had true pvp was dark age of camelot, So I'm often heavily unimpressed by developers who think they actually have pvp. Now whether or not bless has true pvp is another question entirely.
Now that is a mmo I would pay for
Not sure if a traditional MMO trinity could be applied to that form of combat though.
Dark Souls Online. This would be a (dark) fantasy MMO for my liking.
Their devs should however find a way to bring some more variety into PvP. It is either just backstabbing or a dark soul magic spamming fest.
What do you mean by "true PvP" exactly?
Again basically Dark Age Of Camelot.
Queuing up for 5 minute matches is not pvp
I am pretty certain the new (old?) adage, "WoW will kill itself," is really the only way this title is going to go away. It's had so much inertia for so long it's going to be difficult for any new game to pry it from the cold, withered hands of its fanbase.
Yeah, a Korean grinder MMO is going to de-seat WoW? Don't think so.
Look up all the accolades given to **** prior to its North American launch in September 2009 - and you'll see the same type of "This WILL be the WoW Killer" syndrome. It was supposed to be a real game changer -- launched large in NA and within a few mongths they were doing server merges.
PWE ARC Drone says: "Your STO forum community as you have known it is ended...Display names are irrelevant...Any further sense of community is irrelevant...Resistance is futile...You will be assimilated..."

Underlight, one of my favourites, has some of that (though the land-grab thing doesn't really happen, since once you've left the area there's nothing to show what just happened. How does that work in Dark Age of Camelot?) Anyone can attack anyone, any time, if the situation suddenly happens to call for it; there is no special PvP mode. The catch is that the game is true roleplay - played in character by default - so you need to have some kind of reason for attacking somebody, how good a reason depends on how hot-headed your character is known to be. At the far end of the spectrum, a character that attacks for no reason is going to be treated as a dangerous lunatic by all the other player characters - including those that are a lot higher level than yours. It seems to work well.
