Wells Science Vessel Temporary Build

So I am going to run a plasma Wells for ****s and giggles right now, I was wondering what 3 space set I should run until my fleet gets Fleet Shields.

    Nothing wrong with a plasma wells. Frankly it out-performs a temporal set + antiproton wells most of the time.

    After grinding out the EC and dilithium to obtain enough keys to get enough lobi to get the full temporal set I switched back to plasma.

    Simple reason being that its a shame to take a ship with the potential to fit that many science abilities and then run with full weapons power.

    I have found both of the romulan sets together to be well worth the investment on the wells, the deflector is one of the best ways to boost a viral matrix. The shield capacity works realy well with the high shield modifier on the wells, the experimental beam array gives you something to use subsystem targeting with and the hyper plasma torpedo launcher + projectiles doffs gives you enough plasma spam to run with full aux instead of full weapons power.

    I went with Hyper launcher + Experimental Beam + brean cluster torpedo front. Plasma mines + tractor Mines + plasma turret aft. Then I loaded up my my science console slots with flow capacitors and used tachyon beams, energy syphon's and tractor beams + tractor doff for some serious drain.

    I agree with experimental equipment set being worth it, i would recommend the Adapted MACO set for extra aux power and +25% torp dmg , the AM deflector has nice science stats in general, the shield the highest cap if all in game + a cool special ability (chance to temp. Cloak when hit), the engines have the highest turn rate boost of all, with bonus energy to W, S, A subsystems

    (Edit) Oh and by the way, the wells works great as a torp boat in PvP (if you like to PvP) so you can run high aux and shields energy :)

    Yeah the only reason I put ****s and giggles because I got attacked on the forums for using plasma like its the worse thing ever
