You don't know how happy this has made me.

"Commodities are now displayed above the food in the Replicator menu."

A ridiculously small thing I know, but it was annoying the hell out of me that. Who buys food anyways?

3 years and food is still one of the most useless things in this game, aside from breeding tribbles.

What is truly amazing is how long they took to finally fix this. Will help anyone that does duty officer assignments, contributing to Fleet projects, and Reputation.

I was thinking the same thing when I looked at the patch notes day. After a relatively crappy day, it made me smile.

I would have to agree..a great quality of life improvement for everyone, way to go Cryptic! A few dozen more life enhancements like this and the game will be alot nicer to play.

It truly is the little things like this.

I never understood why the least used items were at the top. Thank you for this, Cryptic!

Now if we can buy MK1 torpedoes in 100 packs from the vendors, like it was a outer space COSTCO, I would be a happy fleet grinder.:)

    Few simple things we want:

    1. large power sell sold in 100 max like hypo/shield
    2. hypo/shield and similar items stack at 50 or 100.
    3. commodities stack at 500.

I thought it was a bug when I saw that at first. Then I checked my other characters and they were all that way and I thought "awesome". Was getting tiresome scrolling to fill a commodity order.

I don't use the replicator all that often, but I agree this was a nice move. Was really annoying having to scroll past all that useless food to get to the commodities.

Nice that they did this, if anybody was still buying it out of the replicator.

There is a magical answer for cheap commodities: its called "Public Service" channel.
Just ask for a Tuffli/Cell ship invite and voila, you have discount commodities. Without food anywhere in the list. Or just get yourself one of the above mentioned ships :D.

Personally, I dislike this change. I'm gonna need a lot of food soon: starbase T2 bartender. But that's just me. I can see the value of this change.

If the time to get an invite to a cell/tufflei or going to the fleet embassy was worth the savings i would do it but its not worth the time doing those things unless i am going to donate 600+ expensive commodoties. The savings on the rep seriously isnt worth it to me, 1 fleet alert and the loot paid for the rep commodoties.

Need some commodoties for a doff asignment and taking the time to find cheap commodoties is wasted time. So yeah moving the commodoties to the top is a good change.

For Fed i just exit sol and there is a ship right there ahead of you (not to mention another off to the right that moves) thats a bit cheaper than the tuffli discount anyways. Never quite figured out what to do with my Klingons. I hate trying to find the ships in other sectors as they move.

I just wish they'd add a "buy stack" button. You know, just one button that will buy a full stack of 20/250/whatever of whatever it is you're buying. There's plenty of room on the interface, and it'd make it a whole lot easier to stock up for fleet projects. 1 click (using ctrl) to buy 250 items, instead of 3 clicks, 3 slider drags, and 3 more clicks? Sign me up!

Now if only they'd fix the DOff window so it stays on the assignment when you use the replicator...

"Oh look, that mission I need is under my Tac officer. Hmm, I need X meds, Y provisions, and Z stem bolts."

    *opens replicator*

"Wait, how many stem bolts did I need?"

*looks at DOff window, which has reverted back to "Dilithium Mining in an Unstable Cluster" and facepalms*
"You Iconians just hung a vacancy sign on your asses and my foot's looking for a room!"
