More Ship Customization Options

I know most of us (probably all of us :rolleyes:) in the community enjoys fully customizing our own ships. However, some features such as customizing the deflector without changing the hull material, changing the windows of the ship without changing the type lifeboats and vice versa is currently not available. (Making it a bit more harder to be creative :cool:)

Hopefully in the near future (after everything's settled of course), these ship customization options will be available ... (Looks at the Dev team ;))

So, what do you guys think?

    nice idea i'll go with it..and it would also be nice to have a ship type that actually shows battle damage

    I guess they could add a skin that shows some 'wear and tear' on the ship after being in space for so long (faded colors, a bit of scorching on the hull). A very interesting proposal! :)

    Yeah, I'd love to be able to change the Elachi Battleship windows to white. Don't like the yellow :(

    Take a look at the thread recently posted by Branflakes. Daniel Stahl in an interview with MOG Nation has promised more ship and costume customisations. You will get your wish it seems.

    Customization is always a positive thing, so hopefully they allow for more.

    I personally want a smooth, consistent dark coloured hull. I want a dark ship for one of my characters (He's meant to be war-like), but the current black hull is ugly.
