So, way back during the first winter event I farmed a Jem'Hadar attack ship out of the dailies. As a Tac escort captain, I used it right away (and to this day wonder how much happier I would have been with 400 million EC in my pocket. Probably "Very").
I have scoured the forums and the internet trying to find how to make this ship all it can be, and with how fast information changes in this game I find it may just be better to ask you all for suggestions. I know there's a lot of gear I could grind out for it, but until I know what direction to walk in, I cant really work towards anything So, for your consideration, my Jem'Hadar Attack Ship load out:
EQUIPMENT
3x Nanite Disruptor DHC's Mk XII
1x purple Quantum Torpedo Launcher Mk XI
Aegis Deflector Array
Jem'Hadar Combat Impulse Engines Mk XI
Adv. Fleet Reinforced Warp Core Mk. Mk XII [EPS] [W>S] [WCap] [SSS]
Aegis Covariant Shield Array
2x Nanite Disruptor Turrets Mk XII
Kinetic Cutting Beam Mk XII
Red Matter Capacitor
Scorpion Fighters
Engy Consoles: 1x purple EPS Flow Regular Mk XII, Universal - Point Defense System, Universal - Impulse Capacitance Cell, Universal - Grappler
Science Console: Universal - Assimilated Module
Tactical Consoles: 2x purple Zero Point Quantum Chamber Mk XI, 3x blue Disruptor Induction Coil Mk XI
BOFFS
Lt Science: Transfer Shield Strength I, Hazard Emitters II
Lt Engy: EPtS I, Reverse Shield Polarity I
Com Tac: Tac Team I, Cannon Rapid Fire I, Cannon Rapid Fire II, Attack Pattern Omega III
Lt Com Tac: Tac Team I, Cannon Scatter Volley I, Torp. Spread III
En Engy: EPtS I
I know my gear isn't the greatest, but I'm just not sure what I should be working towards. Some thoughts floating around:
Is it worth if for me to upgrade the Jem'Hadar set with lobi and switch to all polaron weapons?
I know the generally suggested load out is MACO gear (I think), but does being a Jem'Hadar ship make the Jem set more effective?
Am I currently using too many universal consoles, and if so what would be better?
Is it worth it to have a torpedo slotted at all?
Thanks for any help you can give. I know a lot of you answer these questions a lot, and the information I've managed to collect so far is the only reason I'm this far along.
- double up on attack patterns APB for PVE and APO for pvp
- you should be using all energy tactical consoles dump the torp consoles
- I haven't heard good things about the Aegis set you want to get elite fleet adaptive shields with either omega deflector and engines or the Borg 2 piece deflector and engines
- as for the Jem hadar set I was running the mkXI /deflector and engines on my new romulan character I soon got bored of the painfully slow engines the shields aren't great the boost to Polarons is great but I found the omega engine and deflector outweighed that boost
These are just my comments I have not commented on stud where I've had personal experiences with
----=====This is my opinion you don't have to listen and no one else has to read them these "OPINIONS" are based on my exploits and my learning other people will have their opinions and that's fine just don't knock my way of doing things thanks=====----
Thanks for the input. I know this is kind of a duplicate thread, but with how often cryptic adds new consoles and gear into the game, its hard to tell where the most up to date data is.
Can anyone recommend some of these bug build posts that still have good data?
