Community Pub Quiz Event - August 29th - 2 Timeslots (BST and PDT/EDT)

Hi Captains!

I am organizing an in-game (Holodeck) Community Pub Quiz Event for this coming Thursday. During both timeslots, SCCFleet will be on hand to give out some awesome prizes* for answering Trek trivia questions correctly and first. You won't want to miss out!


The first timeslot will be at 8pm BST/ Noon PDT/ 3pm EDT. (Click here to view in your timezone)

The second timeslot will be at 5pm PDT/ 8pm EDT/ 1am BST. (Click here to view in your timezone)


Make your way to Quark's Bar on DS9 (any instance) and get ready to have some fun! Please join the PartyTime chat channel to see any communication from myself and for all the quiz questions. Only answers given over the PartyTime chat channel will be accepted. Type this command in your chat bar to join the channel: /channel_join PartyTime

If you can't make it Thursday, I would like to try and do these often, and on different days/ times. Feel free to post constructive feedback in here with ideas, including if you would like to see this expanded to other types of events (STFs, PvP, PvE, Foundry, Fleet Actions etc.).

I hope to see many of you on Thursday!

*If you win a prize for answering a question correctly and first, you will be ineligible to win another prize for the next 2 questions (e.g. every 3rd question you can win a prize if you're the first to answer correctly).     We'll be giving out mirror ships, lock box consoles, devices and weapons plus some costumes and more.
    The exact prizes will be announced before each question.

    Topics will also be related to Trek, from the TV series to Film, Books, STO and maybe even Cryptic (as in STO team)!

    The best times can think of would be anytime on Saturdays or Sundays.

    Can more than one person win? Like say someone else answers correctly and so did you can you still claim a prize?

    Generally, it is the first person to answer correctly who wins the prize.

    If someone has just won a prize they cannot win another prize for another 2 questions, however, they are free to still call out the answer in chat, so please post in chat your answer even if others already have, you could still win the prize!

    Every now and then there might be a question where the Fleet could give out prizes to more than one person, for example, the first three correct answers, if we are to do this we will announce the fact when we announce what the prize will be awarded before the question is posted.

    Considering the amount of players who try to join kdf events and the fact its boh sides...theres going to be a lot of dissapointed entrants :p Still, thems the breaks

    Wow! What an epic event :) Thanks to everyone who participated -- hope y'all had fun! Congrats to the winners, and a special thank you to SCCFleet for running the quiz and providing the awesome prizes.

    I am going to leave this thread open as the winners from round 2 should be posted soon; I'll wait until tomorrow to close and unstick it.
