The Mak'Tar is also recruiting Romulans that have allied with the Federation. With a majority of our players including myself now leveling Romulan characters and quite a few at max level, you'll find many people willing to assist in your Romulan Builds and running through Romulan missions. Our fleet has always kept a Romulan style theme and we're ready to head into the unknown with fellow Romulans who have aligned with the Federation!
Follow the adventures of our fleet, part of the National Space Exploration Administration (NSEA). You too can have such exciting jobs as repeating the computer or looking really awesome in your uniform and corporate looking haircut TODAY!
Our theme is based on the movie Galaxy Quest. A hilarious sci-fi movie parody of Star Trek from 1999. The reason we chose this was to let people know we are about fun and as little drama as possible. We accept all players whether they are new to Star Trek Online or a veteran and 18 years old (we're flexible though) or older!
We're a very laid back fleet and on a regular basis we're getting members inviting friends and family to our growing group. All our members take part in regular events for pretty much any aspect of the game and we offer a variety of officer roles if your looking to work your way up through the ranks and help in the day to day running of the fleet. We believe that with some hard work and sticking together, that we can create a group of friends who will continue to have fun and game together regardless of what game we are playing.
We have a very simple vision and believe that together as a family, as a unit we can achieve this. It's all about give and take and without the efforts of all our members, we wouldn't be here today. We more than welcome anyone with a strong drive and belief in this vision. So you could find yourself in such roles as:
- STF Officer
- Event Officer
- Recruitment Officer
- Project Officer
....and many more.
Rank in this fleet is purely administrative and we have an open door policy when it comes to how we operate. We believe that every member should be able come forward with a problem, idea or suggestion that may help the fleet become stronger and improve, without worrying that they might be stepping out of line. Although the Fleet Admirals may lead the fleet, it's all the members and officers that keep this ship afloat. We can't always promise that we'll take on everyone's suggestion, but we can offer an open ear and will always give you the time of day.
You could also find yourself taking part in events like:
- The Mak'Tar Games (Runs every 6 months in June and December)
- Mak'Tar PvP (Every 3 months. Both ground and space (inter-fleet only)
- The Mak'Tar Sword Fighting Championship (Every 3 months)
- The Mak'Tar Martial Arts Tournament (Every 3 months)

We strive on trying to keep a drama free atmosphere and have players from all over the world including US, Canada, England, Germany and Netherlands. All members are required to register on our website and start a 2-4 week probation as a Cadet 1st Class amongst our ranks. If you find that this is the fleet your looking for and your probation is successful then you'll start your journey as a full fledged member after working through the Mak'Tar Trials and learning such skills as:

Legacy of Romulus has had some great reviews and for good reason, our fleet is taking full advantage of that fact are going all out to experience these new adventures together.
We are not overly serious(except walking the plank, flogging to death etc) , but we know how to game and make it fun. What we want is some awesome people who know how to gel with others to come join us, we can reak havock across the galaxy!
Like most fleets we have everything you need, unlike most fleets we have aligned ourselves with "Galaxy Quest" it says something about who we are, but it also give you a nicer website/forum experience that is refreshing from the same old Lcars setup ( no offense to anyone using that by the way).
We are not a fleet looking to get our first members. We are doing well in that regard. We are a fleet looking to add good people to our roster so we can have fun and hopefully make some friends on the way.
And we mean it when we say we are here to help, sometimes we come and run missions with you, other times it's STF's. And on topic with this thread we are all looking forward to exploring this expansion together....they way it's meant to be played.
New content means mistakes and wipes...so we get to laugh at our Admirals if they fail! (just dont let em see :P )

Us Mak'Tarians have been going for a while now and many bonds have been formed over time. I'm proud to be one of the Founders & a Fleet Admiral in this fleet and to have made some great friends. Come hang out with us on a Friday or Saturday night when we run Fleet Events, you can only but give us a try and see if you like it.
While Mumble is not mandatory, we do highly encourage all members to join us on Mumble to hang out and get to know each other, even if you just want to listen in for a while, that's fine. The only time we do require Mumble is for Fleet Events. Not required to speak, just to listen.
Even some members who weren't initially too keen on Mumble eventually started to enjoy coming on and hanging out. Bring your friends, your family and anyone you feel may enjoy being a part of our growing family. We already have members who have brought friends & family into the fold and are having a great experience!

We do use a voice server and Mumble is required for any team participation within the fleet. Not required to speak, so long as you can hear us that is all that is required.
Website registration is required as we use the forums a lot to communicate with fellow fleet members. It's a lot of fun and helps build up the family/team focus that we offer to all our members.

Yesterday we just started are dilithium mine trade T2 upgrade and ran a bunch of fleet marks and stf's. Over the past few day we have grown with adding some new members to are ranks, How ever we are not yet done. We have 45 active members about 8 to 15 on daily and lots that play 3 to 4 days a week. We are not working to being the biggest, but working at having about 60 to 80 active members and something like 15 to 25 daily. If your new to the game or played it since launch your welcome to join are gaming family. We run stf and fleet mark events daily and some of the officers have no issues running members through content to help them level.
