Question on visiting a fleet's starbase

Quick question:


If you are currently not in a fleet and get invited to a Fleet Starbase, can you file a commendation report (Doff mission to convert CXP to Fleet Marks)?

    I don't know, but I know an easy way to find out. Just ask for an invite.

    I believe that you can. If you are on a starbase, anything that a fleet has unlocked on that starbase will be open to anyone there. Now, of course, anything that requires a provision, like buying a weapon, won't do you much good, but other things, like the DOFF guy, the bank and mail access, shipyard access, etc, are all usable.

    Same thing applies for other 'universal' things. Like the DOFF missions you can get on the dil mine, you can buy the DOFFs as well.

    And if I am wrong...then that is quite silly, and should be changed accordingly, because there wouldn't really be a point to not allow that.



    But of course, only way, as FPN said, to be 100% sure, is to get an invite to an SB.

    you can use the consoles and buy fleet weapons, opassets, etc., though that will take from your own fleet's provisioning. To buy ships from the upgraded shipyard, you need to be in the fleet that owns that starbase and promoted to a rank that allows you to do so.

    There are certain non-provisioned stores that you don't need any level of access to shop at- the generic doff store, in particular, and the tailor store for the Odyssey/Bortasqu uniforms.

    The commendation report terminal isn't even a "store" per se, and it's certainly not provisioned, so I see no reason why it wouldn't be accessible to the unfleeted. But I've never tried it.
