Breen Capital Ships

Is there a way for Cryptic to make the Breen Capital ships more readily available to achieve the accolade "Breen Capital Punishment"? Since the Breen weekly episodes have long since passed there is generally only one instance for the Orellius Sector Block, thus making it next to impossible to find all of the Breen Capital Ships to fulfill this accolade. Please help your customers to achieve this accolade. Thank you

    Each of the ships have a chance to appear in their respective daily mission, I'll admit it's a pain and I seem to run into them more now that I've done it....

    There is a accolade channel that you can subscribe to, sometimes people yell on it when they find one. You'd have to search for it or look at the accolade thread see if it's named there.

    It's ment to be hard, but doable with the daily missions, nothing to do with the series.

    Got jumped by two breen cap ships at once during the deferi patrol mission last night, what a battle!

    i've only seen one since the breen series came out.
    just started accolade hunting on my main now and have been actively looking for them but no joy.

    Kind of hard to imagine that people have still only seen one or none of them since they were introduced. But that was how Cryptic intended it to be. All I can say is good luck to those who are still searching. I know how much of a pain it can be to look for them.

    I've found two! I'd consider myself lucky except it was the same one both times: The Snosk.

    The first time I was in my low-level escort and I was killed quickly and it wouldn't let me respawn in the mission.

    The second was with my VA Intrepid and I beat it - of course I had to use Photonic Fleet and Fleet Support. lol :o

    Only once with my Klink.
    Never ever ever with my main Fed which i use for accolade hunting, and i do dailies on a regular basis.

    Obviously something is broken.

    They do spawn, although I agree that they are rare. I don't think I've gotten all 3 on any 1 toon. But have 2 of them killed on most characters.

    My Klink Tac nailed Istapp last night, so they still spawn.

    Each of my 3 regular alts has killed one - each a different one, I believe. One of my alts had a chance at a second one, but was killed and then lost him. I'm not running those missions nearly as much as I used to, so haven't seen one of the capital ships in a long while.

    Do Istapp and Snosk only spawn during the daylie mission? I could snatch Desna as that one spawns outside of the mission.

    Please join the channel Accolades and we can help you get it. In fact, we've gotten them so often that now when there's a sighting its common to only get 0-2 interested people where before you'd have a full team almost immediately.

    I wrote the articles for all three Breen capital ships, with their flight path for:
    * Desna (Deferi Outpost 3)
    * Snosk (Deferi Patrol)
    * Istapp (Kelvani Belt)

    It is actually *much* easier to get these now that the instance reset has been reduced from five minutes to essentially as soon as you warp out and back in. For example, I've been able to find Istapp within 30-60 minutes any day I want by using the above articles and checking the instance, warping out, and reiterating until I find it.

    Please note you can get a capital ship in a daily or non-daily version of Deferi Outpost 3 and Kelvani Belt!

    Edit: On a related note, there is also a guide to get every accolade if you're interested.

    Yes, I know your guide. Without it I wouldn't have found many if not most of the hidden ones. Outstanding work and an valuable help.

    Desna: You might add that there is a substitution spawn of Plesh Bek Fighters if Desna isn't in the instance. With your guide I needed abou 40 to 50 minutes to get Desna.

    Istapp: Are the circumstances for Istapp the same as with Outpost 3? In other words, can one warp in and out and may stumble upon the ship sooner or later? Until now I didn't find a substitution spawn yet.

    Snosk: I did not try that one.

    Just joined the channel. The question is, why I didn't earlier :-) ?

    Istapp is exactly at the 2 o'clock position (northeast) of its flight path when you warp in and you have to go a bit of a distance over. It can take me around 15-20 tries, but if you have a friend or four who is checking instances (separately, do not be in a team yet!) then it can be found in very short order. At that point, the person should tell the friends (and Accolade channel, if you will) about it so all interested parties can join in for the kill. Everyone teamed up in the instance will get credit towards the accolade.

    Note that, despite the difficulty in getting this accolade, there are no buffs, trophies, player titles, or anything else besides 10 accolade points and a sense of pride.

    My main I have killed all 3 the rest of my alts it ranges from 2-0 and I have killed many of them multiple times just on the wrong characters. I know I have achieved the accolade 3 times over in essence on my main.

    They should stay rare, the game could use more 'rare' mobs for either accolade or loot purposes. Rather than make them easier to find, the Devs could work more capital ships into other daily missions, and 'boss' ground critters as well. Just for accolades would be fine with me, but new loot chances wouldn't be bad either.

    I had already defeated Istapp and Desna. Been on the look out for Snosk in Deferi Patrol for some time. Finally Snosk appeared. I beat it and its escorts. Then completed Deferi Patrol mission. Mission log showed that Deferi Patrol was completed but the "Breen Capital Punihsment" accolade was not awarded to my KDF Tac. Has anyone seen this before?

    i never found the istapp... now i tried like 8 times and BOOM got it...

    i think they should not spawn outside of the mission area,
    that makes them impossible to find *by chance*... if you know where to look it's kinda easy.

    One day, I accidentally destroyed the Snosk in accomplishing the mission. :rolleyes:
    But then I found the other 2 fairly quickly. It's done ! :eek:

    So when one warps in, do u have to scan the base, then answer the breen hail and it spawns when all the other ships do? Or does it spawn later? Or is Istapp already spawned as soon as you warp in?

    I've reset this like 25 times and nothing.

    *update* ...found it on my Tac Capt. 1st scanned base, popped full impulse so as not to aggro the mission breen ships. At first I went to the 2 o'clock position as per some posts. then went straight across to the 11 o'clock position and there she was. So that's from the Diamond(base) you fly 1.5 blocks up the go straight across to 11 o'clock. So, it seems it spawned there at 11 o'clock. So I answered my mechanics question: You need to start the mission in order for it to spawn. I say this because if you do nothing, there's no ships in the instance. It's only after you scan and then respond to Ops that all the magic happens.

    Welp, she was at 11 o'clock again. Maybe she used to spawn at 2 o'clock but I found her twice at 11 o'clock on two different toons. Maybe it changes. All you people that post with useless wordage "it's rare" or" I found it but don't remember where" are absolutely no help to anyone. Your postings should be constructive and worth someone else's time to read. Shame on you.
