Any use for the borg items from Defera?

So, I've got a bunch of these fibro-neural interface cabling, and other drops from the defera quests, and I've no use basically for these....the vendor on defera has basically crappy consumable (the only usable thing is the improved remodulator).

Is there any undocumented use for these? Like exchange them for omega marks or to make some useful weapons?

Also I have various borg neural processors; which I don't remember where did I got them...are they exchangeable for marks or useful stuff?

To me, Defera seems a big waste of time, other than for fun in killing borgs (I know, it is a game, but I am for the games that reward the time spent in it :) )

    as far as neural processors.. you can trade them in for dilithium via the rep system

    Neural processors are required for mk XII set pieces from the reputation system.

    The Deferi items with icons like crafting materials are used at the special crafting station on Defera. Really the only thing of interest there might be the faster remodulator, but even that is rendered entirely obsolete by even a mk X set, since all the Task Force Omega ground sets have an almost instant remodulator as a 3 piece bonus.

    i craft the energy weapon booster alot and the instant remod consumables....makes it really sueful to have a nice stack of those if you dont have the armour sets.

    Thanks; so the ones from the defera missions are basically not useful, other than for the crafting item on defera....I went trough all the missions once, so I guess I will just skip defera from now on, other than for the easy omega marks (a couple fo hours doing defera missions harvest quite a lot of marks).

    I am at tier 2 at the moment with the omega rep; I don't see dil tasks other than the ones to exchange marks for dil; nor I see XII items yet...do I have to be at max rep to exchange the neural processors?

    Also are cortical array useful at all?

    have you done any elites yet to get the BNPs? maybe run one of the mark turn ins to see if you unlock it...as for mk 12 gear, yes you need full rep in omega

    its been a few months since i was last on defera, but im certain thats for one of the zone wide quests

    Cortical arrays are collected for the Easy City mission Modus Operandi. They only drop in the City area. Collect 50 and hand the mission in.

    Defera is the best place to go for Fleet Marks rather than Omega Marks. Team up with people doing the 4 Hard Missions.

    You may think the consumables are crappy, but they are free. The blue and purple versions of the same items cost dilithium through the Omega Reputation Store

    You can get the Experimental Anti Borg Device which works on Borg Drones in STFs and that's quite useful even if just for giggles as you watch Armek become tiny. Fractal Remodulator is good to have as well, before they became bound, you used to be able to sell them on the Exchange.

    The guns and such are practically useless because the MK X Omega/Maco/HG stuff is usually better and comes with the remodulator built in.

    Defera is a bit of an artifact really now, only really useful for farming fleet marks and completionist accolades.
