Hello, Captains, and a very special welcome to a very special episode, recorded live at Star Trek Las Vegas!

Live, from the bridge of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D, the intrepid cast and crew of Priority One bring you a show like never before. In this week's Trek It Out we discuss the activities taking place at Star Trek Las Vegas and what you, our listeners, can expect to hear from us over the next couple of weeks. We then warp into STO News and are joined on the bridge by Thomas "The Cryptic Cat" Marrone and Jesse Heinig as we discuss Legacy of Romulus Dev Blogs, the new Romulan Temporal Ship and much much more. Then Community Manager Brandon "BranFlakes" Felzcar drops by for a quick interview before heading over to the Star Trek Online Developer's Panel Q&A, of which we bring you the best highlights and more than a few spoilers of what you can expect in Season 8 and beyond! Finally, we open up hailing frequencies and listen to your incoming messages.

Stay tuned throughout the coming weeks for our exclusive coverage live from the floor of Star Trek Las Vegas!

This Week's Community Question

I have to admit, although I am P1 staff I really wish I had attended this year sounds like such a blast!

While I was at Star Trek London last year I always feel rather overwhelmed when people mention Vegas, it seemed IMMENSELY larger than London, Specially seeing you guys were able to break the record we set at london by at least 200 people!

I do have to ask, for people who were able to go, What was the biggest highlight for you?, mine (from london) was Kate Mulgrew signing my DVD Boxset of Voyager

Dyson Sphere and Voth, HECK YA! Didn't get to catch the dev panel do to an unforeseen computer breakdown, but I did catch the podcast. Good times were had and as seems to be so true, what happens in Vegas, does not always stay in Vegas. Now if we could see lvling ships and customization interiors before STO2, that be nice.

The Dyson's Sphere was one of my favorite episodes, one that I remember ... even thought mostly I remember Scotty, I love the idea of a Dyson's Sphere.

Only a few years after the episode do you realize that Scotty was stuck too long in the transporter system, considering he was there when Kirk died and then proceeds to ask if he is the one that pulled the Enterprise out of mothballs on the new Enterprise. Maybe it was not that great of an idea to leave him to his own warp capable shuttle craft. (I kid, I kid)

I spent the entire long weekend tuned into Trek Radio to listen what spoilers STOked Radio and Priority One would bring us and they did not disappoint.

Listening along there were many times during the live panels that the audio did not come through very well due to the best reception in there - I am so looking forward to hearing these interviews that were recorded to pick up what was missed.

Well done guys (and gals) for all your hard work getting those of us unable to attend STLV live - from the Enterprise-D bridge no less.

    Thank you all!

More to come too! Thank you for your support and we are truly dedicated to the STO community. We promise we'll give you what we can, as we can! Look for the Trek Radio STO panel footage, live Priority One media, and photos - we got a lot!

Let me know if you see the karaoke video of me singing on stage as my STO Romulan (cosplay) - and another one of me swing dancing with Data/Lore (Eric Allen Hall cosplayer) while Elijah from Priority One sings on stage!

Sadly the camera angle was all wrong on this. From what I could tell the better dancers were on the other side. :D

Sounds like everyone is having fun at the convention, wish I could be there. But you know......money.

The news from the Dev Panel was interesting, sounds like they adopted my idea of the Dyson Sphere, but disappointed with the talk of more Fleet holdings. Small Fleets are already hurting with the Dilithium mine, and adding more Fleet content makes it harder for small fleets to exist. And with the Devs themselves saying "join big fleets", well its more or less indicating they don't want small fleets around. Which makes me disappointed with the team.

And not sure what to think of the Voth, seems like everyone in the Galaxy is lining up to take a punch at the Federation. Has Roddenberry's legacy really boiled down to Galaxy's punching bag than the epitome of society?

I am REALLY looking forward to the Dyson Sphere zone! I can't wait for everyone to listen to our POST-Panel interview with Al "CaptainGeko" Rivera, Thomas The Cat, and Cryptic Kate!!

They offered some great information about Season 8!! -- Stay Tuned to Priority One Podcast for the next supplemental due out Friday!
