What are the best combat engines?

Looking for bonus stats, not caring about speed/turn rate. Have a hunch its adapted maco

    Stats is an ambiguous term.

    Torpedo stats? Adapted/console 62
    Beam Stats? Nukara
    Shield stats? Borg
    Shield destruction? Jem Hadar
    Resistance? Why....?

    Ambiguity begets ambiguity...

    In my experience, KHG outperform everything else.
    So yeah, Adapted MACO to you dirty little thieves ;)

    borg-+ 5 to engine
    Jem - + 2.5 and x based on weapon power to weapons, also 2p bonus to polaron dmg
    Adapted maco - 2p bonus to torp dmg
    Nukara engien +5 to shield and x based on system power also 3p bonus tetryon weapon

    so best? well what are you going to do with it

    adapted MACO/KHG's additional hotstart function, while not a big ticket seller, its nifty when it activates

    I personally use the entire set in combat , the torp bonus suits me well, and the additional hull strength from the engines rocks

    Was meaning +3.8 to all systems with khg
    Or +2.5 weapon power an additional potential 7.5 for Jem hadar

    Just those kinds of bonuses.

    And rule 62 is a console, not an engine but that's a simple oversight on your part :P

    How does Jem engines take down shields quicker?

    And I thought borg engines gave a boost to engine power....

    Nukara particle converter console boost beams so that's another oversight.

    Adapted maco it is, thanks guys....now to give up my deflector or shield
    ....

    Shield probably unless I can find a positron deflector with flow capx3, if that even exists

    The adapted shield has the highest capacity as well as a placate built in, the 2p set bonus give you +aux as well
