Hello all,
I have an advanced escort that I am constantly changing bits on and I think I am heading toward the time where anything new looks shiny and good, which I know will lead me to eating space dust faster than a Tribble can say food!
Can anyone who wants to take a look and rate and post any suggestions please.

I am at the time of writing this post a Science Rear Admiral Upper Half lvl 49, and will be posting my skill tree very soon.
Many thanks and see you in game.

Once you hit 50, though, you're going to want to make some changes.
Mostly getting 4 disruptor induction coils as tac consoles, for starters, and then maybe some better engines/shields/deflector. There's an Efficient Engine as a quest reward somewhere, I believe, that thing's spiffy, as it boosts subsystem power. Also, you could see if you want something to break tractor beams, such as Attack Pattern Omega or Polarise Hull. If you got some EC's, I'd recommend getting the DOFFs that reduce EPtS cooldown time (are they the Damage Control Officers?).
For more extensive advise I suggest checking the Hilbert Guide and this thread with various guides and tips.
Very much this. I'd also think about replacing your engineering consoles with 2 neutroniums, getting rid of your particle gen sci console for something which boosts shields (regen or healing) and just keep getting higher Mk and rarity engines, shields and deflectors until you are happy.
I also like sci captains in escorts, but they miss out on some boosts to damage a tac captain has (although using Sub-nucleonic beam as an escort captain is really fun!)

then a blue and a purple con doff that reduce tac team cooldown so you need only 1 tac team to accomodate a second attack pattern, but i understand this takes time to farm EC etc. but i would strongly suggest it.
further doffs: damage controle doffs and a warp core specialist (the one that has a chance to give power to all system on the activation of EPtX
also RSP is a nice skill, but for pve i think 2x Epts (1 and 2) will increase survivability much more.
