Change Channel Owner

Just a quick question;

Is there anyway to change a channel owner? Or if the owner leaves what would happen.
Any information would be great..

    Just make sure you have active admins on hand - they have all the rights of the founder except the ability to destroy the channel. Which you probably don't want to give away anyway.

    If the owner leaves a channel, an arbitrary member of the highest ranking (Admin if existing, Operator, then User), becomes Owner. The person selected appears to be nonrandom, but it based on criteria that is not immediately discernable (not seniority, alphabetical or anything otherwise visible).

    If you wish to hand ownership of a channel to another specific person, promote him to admin, demote all other admins, and leave the channel. Otherwise an arbitrary person will be selected as the new owner.
