Advanced Scimitar Console Set.

I have the Romulan Dreadnought Warbird: Scimitar Class where can I get the other 2 universal consoles to complete the set?

    each console comes with its assigned ship and is character bound on pick up. there is no way to get the other consoles except through owning all three ships..

    ye, its the same as all of the ship sets, you need to have the relevent ships for the consoles, atleast with the majority you can get them from the c-store, however some like the romulan and tholian ones requre spending millions or using loby crystals.

    IMO it's always better just to buy the three pack if you want the console set.

    The Three pack gives you 3 ships for the cost of 2 and now you'll have to send the cost of the Three pack just to get the other two Scimitars to get the consoles that you want.

    Imho you don't really need the console set to have a good ship... It isn't exactly cheap to spend $25 for a ship, then turning around and spending $50 again for the two others just to make use of that thalaron generator looking pretty on the bridge. ;O Start saving up that spare $$$ for a month or 2. The game'll still be here when you get it. (Unless you're obsessed like me and end up throwing a paycheck down the toilet just to have what you want)

    In most cases you're correct. However, because of how certain bonuses (specifically shields while cloaked and cloaked turn rate persisting through decloak Ambush) fundamentally alter the equation, anyone wanting the Scimitar absolutely should go for the 3-pack.

    Agreed,

    The console set bonuses are quite worth the 3 pack IMO.

    I've noticed many posts that state that the Cloak Barrage and Secondary Shielding console are not very useful and I find myself strongly disagreeing with them.

    All 3 consoles are very nice.

    My Tulwar got its name in part to the Cloaking Barrage Console; I call her the Shadow Stalker.

    I'm curious to know if we get Alpha Strike Bonus while using the Cloaking Barrage.

    It would be pretty cool to get an Alpha Bonus while firing under cloak and then dropping the cloak to get another Alpha Bonus :eek:

    Thanks for the replies! But that really sucks you have to spend that much and just waste the other 2 ships just to get the capabilities for the thalaron generator!!! Wth do I need the other 2 ships for? We should be able to purchase just the other 2 consoles separately!

    It's like buying a printer: You do not actually get two other ships. You actually get the console with a ship thrown in.

    Also, you can always re-get a ship if you bought it from C-store for "free", so if you suddenly decide to go with the eng-heavy scimatar, you can always get it and then dismiss the tactical version, with only your inventory space determining your order of procedure.

    Lastly, if you actually made two romulan characters, you can use it for your alt.

    The only complain you should make is that Why did cryptic basically force eveyrone to buy a 3-pack.

    Cryptic loves making bundles to make you spend more on something you want. I for example have the Aventine from the Vesta line. The console is taking up space in my bank and I couldn't be happier with the ship, all I would like to buy are the skins of the over ships to mix and match. But I'm not going to pay 2500 Zen for that. The problem is, that so far console sets were massively inferior to just using simple stat boosters. Not only did they change that with the Scimitar, they also put the best console that could be used alone on the least desirable ship.

    I just bought a Dreadnought as well, not realizing I needed all three ships to get all 3 consoles...

    If I had known that before hand I would never have bought the one. They should either make the other consoles available through reputation requisition, or refund the original transaction.

    Ok every time I have used the fire when cloaked it decloaks me when its done, now is that suppost to happen?

    I walked into this same problem. I bought just the Scimitar, then realized I need all three D-noughts to get the set, but of course once you buy ONE, the bundle is no longer available, so I ended up wasting 7500 zen to get the console set. I am positive this is by design, as there are no helpful indicators for newer/infrequent players.

    The thalaron looks nifty, but isn't very good (so far): the damage vs. sitting there for 12 seconds doing nothing is fairly balanced, and as such, one might just be better off skipping that attack. However, the SECONDARY SHIELDS and CLOAK BARRAGE are freakin' AWESOME. Those are the ONLY reasons I'm sticking with the Scimitar over my favorite ship: Daeinos Heavy Warbird Destroyer.

    If I could put just those two consoles (or the set of three) on the Daeinos, I'd be in heaven.

    It clearly states at the bottom of every ship in the Cstore which console is included with which ship

    Why in the world anyone would think you could buy a ship specific console without buying the actual ship is well beyond me

    sorry for opening a old treat because I made the same mistake also QQ

    only buy the scim and saw later I only have 1 console :(
    I rely hope they change this because its a waste of my mony

    because I rely like all 3 consoles and not 3 ships
    dunno why every1 want to fly 3 type of ships ??

    maby a good idee to sell those consoles in C store ore so and not going with bundels

    I was so in love with the pulse blast but now I cant shoot it because I don't have the 3 consoles QQ

    dunno what to do anymore because I cant buy the bundle also
    so am stuck with the scim that is not ad full power
